What is it with the girl who keeps losing track of time? She woke up & the two guys were dead then it took her 4 hours to get to her kid??? I can't figure that one out.

I don't know if she is a Dr Jekell/Mr. Hyde thing based on the reflection in the mirror and her losing time. Next week looks like a doozy. Who is the bad guy father - he is familiar - was he on Dallas or one of those types of shoes. Imagine him without the hornrim glasses.

You know, I really don't pay attention anymore. I was just posting to catch up & then checked email.

BTW, our total for the fundraiser after today was 11860!!!!!! We get 40% of that. We also found out yesterday that the equipment company approved us for a grant up to 7500 towards the purchase of a slide for the Kindergarten playground!!!! That is 40% believe it or not. Since we just ordered stuff for the 1st/2nd grade playground that is suppose to be paid from this fundraiser, the money will be tight but we will find a way to use that grant in the next month!

There are going to be so many things that other people on the cruise are going to be shaking their heads over when they hear us talking.

I have heard that the food companies actually pay for the shelf space at the stores. The more desirable shelves at eye level are more than the ones on the bottom. They plot what is going to be the best positioning to get you to buy their product.

Not at our stores. And that practice is not as prominent as it once was. Companies did used to pay us a "slotting allowance" which was just to get the product in the store. We put it where we wanted.

So, for those of us not in the exclusive 10,000 club, do you think they will get together on the cruise and have some kind of toast or something? Will they get invitations to that club that Angie got to go to at Disneyland?

Will they be offered parts in POC 3?

I can't participate in the date stuff - I'm definitely a "guy" like that I suppose since I never remember dates. Heck it already happened what's happening tomorrow is my motto. No seriously that's so bad. I never remember years etc. I remember the events just not the years but I'll give it a shot

We met in 1980s (1987 - I think) - I couldn't stand him
We became best friends (go figure)
We started dating (everyone wondered what took us so long)
We stopped dating
Still best friends but not dating (duh)
My mom died and I moved to Manhattan
I had a blast there
He visited
I moved back,we got engaged
We got married in 1997 (next week is our anniversary)
DD was born in 2000
He's still my best friend

not at my John's store now but when he worked for more of the major chains the big named vendors paid for space.
I can remember walking the store with my dad (step) (who worked at Pepsi at the time) counting the shelf space to make sure they had the allotted amount. Now he's with Bud!

If they don't pay for space it's definitely a marketing tactic.
