JK sweetheart!!!! I wouldn't change a thing!!!

It was a total suprise!!!! Our family was vacationing there and knew the whole time...well his family knew, not mine because they knew that if my sister found our (Julie was with us) she wouldn't be able to keep the secret. :rotfl:

Hey, he was going to propose while we were reading our sunday paper, that is one of our favorite things to do.......glad he waited though

Becka - LOL I am laughing about your Iron man competition. so funny.

and I did love that Precious moments with the Mickey ice cream bar. resist the urge though. you can get it when the kids are older.

I had a piece of porcelain that I got in Hungary before the wall came down - it was probably worth a lot now - and Giona dropped something off the loft balcony and it landed right on top of it. I cried. I never cry about stuff because they are never that important but that I did cry about.

he owes me.

I went to be at 9:30pm - it was delicious and I actually slept through til
5 am that is a long time for me. So I am up trying to catch up.

never will though.

And last night my DSis called to sing her rendition of Hap Birth to me and used a name (nickname) for me that i haven't used since HS. Wondering how she even remembered it.

I'm a Tide family AND a Cascade family. Nothing seems clean - dishes or clothes when we switch.

As a marketing major in college, we studied people's brand preference. It is supposed to be related to generation and age...but I think our generation finds a brand and really tends to stick with it.

I'm a Tide only person too!!!!! We tried the rest, but keep going back to Tide. I only buy it when it is on sale, like $5.00 for 100oz, if it's not, then I refuse, I just stock up on it!!!!!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!

I am trying to catch up, missed a day and far behind.

So yesterday, I get home from work and Paul was trying to fix the dryer, it's been sounding like it has been dying for some time now....anyways...he was working on it when it started on fire, he moved some of the wires and bam! Lucky for him it was contained in the dryer only. He was totally freaked out. I was at work at the time. Needless to say....I have to spend my morning pricing out new washer and dryer combos....I think at this point now, it will be cheaper than having a repair man come and fix it...plus, you can see all the burn markings on it :guilty: Not even sure if it will even be usable again. It was a gas dryer too....thank GOD nothing worse happend.

He did say that he will NO longer be experimenting (trying to fix anything) with electricity or gas :rotfl:

I am normally a very active person but have been having back issues since early may. Turns out I have Progressive Degenerative Disk Disease.

:grouphug: Your not alone it the whole back issues department. I have been fighting a L5-S1 issue for about 4 years now. In the beginning the disc was actually pinching my nerve (leg pain). Try the therapy and exercises. It can work for some. I wouldn't let them talk you right into any kind of surgery though right away.

Sorry to hear that your insurance co are a bunch of  . I have found relief from my back pain by taking hydrocodone (generic of vicodin). (i know it gets a bad rap but i only take it when i truly need it and it's not like i'm popping them 4 times a day or anything.) Celebrex might be one of those expensive medicines that insurances don't want to cover. I know mine is very cheap though with or without insurance.

Tide does the best job, but we do not use it in this house (I am the laundry expert). Tide makes all of us but Amy itch. We have not used it for over 15 years. If anyone else with allergies can tell me that this has changed - l would really like to know. When we washed clothes in tide, I felt like someone put itching powder down my shirt!

Amy is hooked on one thing that she makes me use now. That Downy "simple Pleasures" softener. The purple one. She loves the smell.

John1

That Downey Simple Pleasures and Tide Simple Pleasures, purple bottle is WONDERFUL. Paul and I are hooked on it. We even wash all of our bedding in it and our bedroom will smell like that for days........I am still waiting for my free samples to come in the mail...P&G site was sending out free samples a while back....

You can leave it with the photographer to pass around for our boarding pictures. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

:lmao:

Can't you just see the photographer standing there with an inflatable banana and asking everyone if they are one of the people who want their picture taken with it? :rotfl2:
