I just had some Disney talk with a co-worker. Actually I was probably pretty rude. I heard AKL and had to butt in. I love talking Disney......;)

We do too but I think sometimes we give them far more information than they ever expected to hear. It only validates our DISGeekness and status as members of a "cult". :confused3

This is bad. I am on at the Disney online outlet.... :rolleyes1

It's V's fault! I went right there after I saw her post about the pins this morning. I blame V! :rotfl2:

Speaking of which, are you signed up at mrrebates.com? They give you 3 or 4% back on your disneystore.com purchases, and other stores . I've only been signed up a few weeks but I'm pretty close to my first cashout, LOL.

Maybe Lisa can talk to her people about getting our favorite shows on the Dumbotron?? How fun would it be to watch Dh and Brothers and Sisters on Sunday night by the pool? :cool1: Ds and I watched a movie there one night after late seating dinner, it was so great under the stars!!

well I am thinking they will have sun night football game on. Last year they had a late game on because I have pics at night w/the game in the background. Not sure if it was sun or mon. While I agree I would love Grey's or DH up there~there is nothing like watching a football game on the Dumbotron - it is awesome!

I usually go through mypoints or upromise for rewards. I didn't today simply because my work blocks many of those sites and with those pins in particular being cheap I thought they would be gone by the time I get home.

This work thing sure gets in the way of life!

I just got home from fundraising counting and turned on the TV to watch OLTL. Instead I saw the police briefing on the PA shooting. I cannot stop crying. Why does anyone feel the need to kill babies??? They weren't even around 20 years ago when this moron got upset. What is worst is that he will never pay for what he has done. I know that he has to answer to the final judge but that has to be a small consolation to those parents. They just said three more kids have died at hospitals. :( :( :( I can't wait for the kids to get home!

it's such a horrible thing. What is going on lately? The scary thing is these things can happen anywhere and I think I have become a little bit naive in that fact. Or maybe just feel safe when you really can't control everything.

oh my DH loves Apple Butter......
We will be making homemade applebutter at our church at the end of the month. It takes all day and all night. Them manly men stay up all night to stir the kettle. The youth group stays there all night and plays games and have a mini retreat. It is a great weekend for all. The end result...some apple butter.

Are all these school shootings making anyone else nervous? There's one today where I grew up...in a one room Amish school house. No I wasn't Amish, but I grew up in Lancaster County. It is just soooo sad and scary!
I just turned the TV on about 25 min. ago. I am very upset. That is horrible. I was watching those mothers hugging each other...it has me bawling. I had no idea anything was happening. I came on here to see if you guys had seen the news. It is sickening. I know it can happen anywhere...but it is scary when it is so close to home.

My consolation is that these are deeply religious people and they will find some comsolation in the fact that he will have to answer at his final judgement.

I grew up on a farm (which I know you know). As my grandparents aged they grew less and started to buy some things wholesale in Lancaster. I would go with my grandparents at least once a week to Lancaster to the wholesale market. It was mostly amish people selling the goods at the ws auctions. I was an older kid who would help load the trucks and stuff. The other amish kids would run around and were always so helpful. I was always the "odd" girl there..wearing my worldy clothing. The funny thing is that they were always so so nice. This has me so sad.

This whole experience of planning things early is new to me, but has me so excited! At the same time, I am constantly thinking of things that can go wrong and what I will miss. I am worried about the kids when we go on the Eco Tour on CC and whether I will brave the catamaran myself. Now this shuttle thing has me a little worried and I will have to make a decision soon on where we will stay so I can book it. I wanted to stay closer to WDW, but if there may be traffic, I'm leaning towards being as close to the boat as possible. Do you think other people there will mind if we save places in line for our green family?? ;) Kristina is camping out in the parking lot overnight, right? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I believe that Karen was the one getting the blow up doll to save her a spot in line? :rotfl:

I am never caught up on laundry. That's just my life I guess!
Monday's - yuck! The Bachelor Rome starts tonight! I think I am going shopping on my lunch today. I need a couple new fall shirts. It is starting to get cool in the mornings and evenings.

The previews for that one make the girls look like a bunch of tramps. :rolleyes1

Lisa - I don't have access to the news...why did he do it?

That area is right where I grew up...probably drove by that school many times.

What a day.

I just received word that my old massage therapist and dear friend passed away. She was 38. She had suffered from cancer...thought she kicked it...it came back and just tore thru her unbelievably fast. I'm in shock. She was a dear friend who never had a mean word to say about ANYONE. May she rest in peace.

Being at the school when it happens gives me an added chill. :( We had a code 300 at the school in the morning when I was at the bookfair on Wednesday. There was a class in there. You never really know if it is a drill or not. That night I heard about the shooting in CO on the news. :(

Today I knew that three people were killed but didn't know that it wasn't a student and that the youngest was 6 yo. That just ripped me up inside.
