Our neighborhood has some quality candy handouts. Some of our friends even set aside special non-chocolate things for DD13 (she actually does not like chocolate; no allergies, just does not like it). She does have a candy corn addiction though, like the rest of us.

Yes I am and so is my wife. We share the ministry together. As a matter of fact she delivered the message today in Annapolis.

Nighty night everyone oh and speaking of nightmares..
.this morning at 7:30 I hear lots of noise and things banging around and I looked and saw my DS all dressed and carrying his clarinet case on his back.. I asked what are you doing and he said huh and I said no school son it is Sunday go back to bed... He said oh gosh I dreamt I missed the bus and you said I had five minutes and we were leavin...Ahh I remember those dreams and thinking I had school!!

Poor kid! It wont be long and you will have the baby dreams. OMG I remember those. I would wake DH up patting the bed looking for DS. He would grab my arms and tell me that the baby is in the crib.

Since we are all country people the neighbors give out bags of candy to each kid. We don't walk...everyone gets driven around. Walking just wouldn't work....the houses are really spread out and we don't have street lights or sidewalks....it would be dangerous.

Why does that interfere with TorT on Halloween?

All the towns here do T or T on the closest Sunday, and when it is still light outside. Our T or T will be on the 29th, from 5 to 7. Not like when we were kids running around at night on 10/31. Safety you know.

I did see that this week many churches were having services for the family pet. I don't think any of the Corps in our area are doing that this week.

I'd be glad to do a vow renewal.

Come on Brack.... give out the good candy... we're talking snickers, milky ways, any reecses, twizzlers, etc.....

It'll keep the kids from egging your house later that night.... (just kidding but they'll remember you as the neighbor with the "good" candy)

We use to get the trailer park kids who came over in the back of trucks or even sitting in the trunk of the cars. They stopped a couple years ago so it isn't as busy here. Last year DH was out of town & I took the kids out so we didn't have candy to pass out.
