Morning everyone!

I need to catch up on about 30 pages but I have a quick question about the "goodies" as I am feeling like I need to get something to bring to exchange... anyone have any requests?? I'm thinking maybe like glow bracelets for the kids....

OK good enough spot as any to announce.....

I thought it would be fun to have something to wear (as a group) during our "private" shore tours. (kinda like the tribes on survivor)

Now the bands they wear on survivor are pretty $$$ (like 10-15 each). However, we found someone on ebay who has lime green bandannas who could get us 13 dozen of them. I would be willing to complete the transaction on e-bay but they are a little too much for me alone to donate to the group.
I'm looking for either 1 or 2 (or 3 even ) more families who would be willing to contribute for them. If anyone would like to ask me for more info please send me a PM.

which flight are you on Karen? Right now we are on the 1 or 2:00 i think

I would have done 10 but then we would have to leave home by 7 and i know Fri will be a long day so don't really want to get up early, early.

Even though you can check-in on-line, DH likes to be there that 2hrs before your flight thing JIC.

We will be parking in the econopark express lot like the last two trips.

Kristina - we are doing the 9:25 SW flight. To get there the 2 hours before...with a 2 hour drive, means leaving at 5:25...but allowing for traffic...we're leaving around 4ish.

Hello everyone... catching up and I am very tired /another all nighter with sick DS and Another day home. We are headed to the Dr. today because his cough sounds not so good and he now has that little lung crackle. Anyway I did get some Disney Shopping done and I used the 20% code and I was very happy!!! I can't stay home like this often because internet shopping is addictive!!! I also got pirate outfit for Lance and myself so now DS11 and DH left!! OK so I also feel kinda yucky so I hope it is just from being tired.

Vanessa !!! what is the deal with those love bugs? we were practically eating them. I have gone over Columbus day so many times and never encountered them before. This was my first Sept. trip. are they all over the state or just around Orlando?

the bottom line with the Wendy costume is that there are none sold at WDW.

There is Pirate merchadise galore is anyone is looking for stuff to take on the cruise and will be in WDW before hand. Everyone and their grandmother was a pirate at MNSSHP. It almost seemed pointless to have dressed up if you weren't a pirate. LOL.

John - I was very interested in your posts on censorship since I am a librarian. I wondered what you think of the "expressionist art" that Congress was so riled up about in recent years. You know the urine soaked canvases etc.

Karen - I always think of that Meg Ryan war movie where she gets shot in the stomach. Her troops criticize her for crying but she was really just releasing tension. You did what you had to do with the staff person and just were letting your body normalize from the increased adrenaline.

A bad boss is one who lets employee issues fester because they don't want to address the problem. Try to get out for some fresh air at lunch.

Becka - thanks for the infor about the T-Rex cafe - that sounds like fun and I will check it out. They need more boy stuff.

I made DS a cute pirate bandana with attachable patches and skulls. He also liked the Mr. Potato head pirate pieces.

Funny story -

So I sitting in this very formal and stuffy meeting when the one head honcho states, "The DISBo did it".

My ears perk up...I think - well there is a Dis appreviation I'm not familiar with.

Then someone else says, "Yeah how would you like that on your business card - DISBO".

Still wondering what BO meant....someone else says, "Yeah, those disbursing officers really have it rough."

Geesh!!

That deal looks great, actually fantastic!
The only price I can think of that would be better is free.

I have about 5 yards of plain lime green fabric that a quilt customer dumped on me recently that we might be able to get 1/2 size bandanas out of. How many are you looking at total? And would 1/2 size plain be as much fun as full size printed?

Karen, I just took an informal survey at work (all guys remember). They say crying and cussing are the same thing and are all ok. If a guy crys however you'd better watch out.

Elaine - love bugs are all over but haven't seen to many here lately. Now on the way home from Gainesville, our car was covered!


I learned quite a bit about the pool. There is A LOT to take care of. I now know that it holds 15,000 gallons, how to work the heater, the vacuum, the spa, the chemistry and the salt. I got home around 11:45 and wasn't through until 1 with my lesson, but I passed!
