Oh where is becka. I've hidden my craft deficiencies thus far. This is where I feel pitiful and cop to the fact that I staple and tape hems.

I very rarely sew either, but I am a bit proud of myself today. Sewed the elastic to DD's ballet shoes and it turned out fine.

Lisa - you are right - that annoys the hell (can I say that) out of me about those stickers. who has time to do all that scanning or walk a mile back into the store to score more sale items when you get surprised at the registers.

Personally, I like it that way. I know if something has been marked down from posts and if it is only marked 30% instead of 75%....it will be there when I go since most people pass it by at 30%.

Sorry Elaine, this thread does move fast I totally missed a whole page. I went back to find out about the Dali Lama (missed that) and saw this one. Oh please. I can see it now - DH with this polite smile and glazed look in his eyes only to get me back to the room to discuss the set up.

I need to make a confession. I HATE buying cars. DH thinks my car is getting to scary and thinks it may be unreliable this winter. DH is usually the cheapskate of the month, but we have role reversal on cars. How many miles do you all think a car can have before it starts to be questionable?

I got Giona a beautiful Michael Graves designed chess set there - it's portable and magnetic and the pieces are really nice. I love their selection.

That's how I started online. I have belonged to 3 online savings boards. I only found the DIS in 2003 when DH surprised me with a cruise and I had to find out about it. Online deals, B&M deals.....it is posted somewhere.

Ok, I guess it is time for my "bad mom" confession...

DD3 has preschool from 9 - 11:30 on T/W/Th. She was very excited today because they were going to paint. When I got home from dropping her off, DH got into a political discussion, which never go very well around here. I also chatted with my sister for a bit as I tried yet again to convince her to come with us on DCL instead of RCCL.
Anyhow, DH left for work around 10:30 so I jumped in here to catch up a bit. Tuesday is a busy day so I didn't want to get to far behind. I figured I would play some online Sudako before jumping into DD's room, laundry, ballet shoes and the like. Well, then the phone rang. Didn't know who the number was. It was DD's teacher. "Who is picking Dina up today?" It was 11:45!!! I FORGOT MY BABY!!! I called Dh real quick to see if he could get there first, but he was short staffed today. I got there just befoe 12 to find Dina playinging away with puzzles. Now the one teacher I know very well and joked with her about the "third" child thing, but the other teacher I just met this year so I was very .

I KNOW this totally qualifies me for the bad mom of the year award.
