More pics! I love your dress. Sounds like you had quite an experience this weekend.

He has not yet ever been able to say no when asked to photograph a wedding. :sad2: Should be no exception this time.

He's not anti Dis. He just doesn't "get it" like we do. Throw in all the dancing banana's, coconuts tours, attending the wedding of a stranger, and heaven knows what else and he may give me an intervention when we get home.
:rotfl2: :lmao: Exactly!

Patsy - we might have to talk quillts on the tour unless you are taking time off from work. We have some embarassingly old tshirts from college that we keep saying we will do something with - like a quilt. Not sure how great a condition the cotton needs to be in in order to work with it. It would be fun to combine some of mine with his into one quilt.

My hubby is not quite focused on the particulars yet himself. LOL. He does occasionally trust my judgment though. ;)

Funny how we pass up these minor milestones now without even a blink.

Nice job anyway Carla.

You know the "Accidental Tourist" well I am the Accidental Pirate. I had to go back to figure out what you were referencing John.

Yup, that is Lisa taking pity on me. Those are cool though. I'll get on the stick. I do appreciate the positive reinforcement. What I really want to know is how the heck you find the coolest stuff on sale at Target Lisa. Target and I are you know like weekly buds and I never find the great finds like you do.

OMG! You just reminded me of my finds TODAY!!!! :) The school stuff was being marked down to 75% today and I forgot about it until someone posted that they were shipping the supplies down the PC for the cruise. I went around 12:30 & they still had the 50% signs up but it was scanning at 75. ;) I filled a cart with the marble comp books .12, 10 packs of folders .25, rulers .07, colored pencils .38, double packs of scissors .37, packs of 200 peices of art paper 174, post it pads .25, 10 packs of different colored dry erase markers 1.24 AND many Magic Tree House and JBJ books marked to 50% > 1.78!!! After I got home with my treasures I realized that DS's class could use those books in their AR library section so after I picked up the kids, we went to Target again & picked up 12 books to donate to the classroom. DS is so excited to take them in. According to him, there is nothing interesting to read in the chapter books in the room. LOL! Now he can't say that....and we have our own copies at home for the future. ;)

Carla - do we all need to secretly chat up your hubby and make him think we are normal and then drop da bomb that we are undercover DIS operatives?

Elaine,
On that adventure to London, That's the place I went as a itty bitty baby. In fact I was born on an American Base there.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Before DH gets ahold of you. I am a naturalized American Citizen and eligible to run for president and everything. (insert flag waving smiley here.)

I'd love to go back to visit. It'd be sooo cool!

Carla,

Are you subbing for Becka tonight?

Too funny!

Terrible how all you women have corrupted me. Amy says I am just not the same person since I got on these boards. While she is out helping homeless people and picking up litter, I am sitting here thinking all kinds of bad thoughts . . .

John1, you truly are a blessed man to be married to such a saint!

BTW, they just added on a big section to our Target and are moving everything around. OY! Some of this might be because they are revamping the selection. ???

Time for early bed time folks.

Thanks for the laughs - I needed them today after another really tough day at work. Sounds like quite a few of us had that kind of a day, and mine rates right up there. Seems like the closer we get to the cruise, the more I am going to want to stowaway somwhere on the ship and never come back . . .

Good night, and I hope tomorrow is a better day for all.

That's because you guys put the R in Romance. He'll be directing from above "More banana confetti" "Steady there CJ with that wind machine"

Egads I could rattle on about quits all day but these folks don't need to hear it. Email me through the link below. (I hope the moderator doesn't catch me)

Night John! Here's wishing you a better day tomorrow!

Patsy, you know I just can't seem to get rid of the kid's Disney PJs. I did make pillows out of DD's but didn't cut anything...just sewed up the hem, neck and sleeves. Since I picked up the panels from WM last week, I will be putting the PJ ones away. Maybe they would make a good quilt for her eventually?

Hey.....that would save the girl a bundle. ;)

What plot? There are only 2 DIS families going on that excursion. That isn't a plot....that is a coincidence. Now the David & Ivan tour.....THAT is a plot!!! There is no way that anyone's DH is going to buy having 92 people loaded on 2 busses is anything other than a well planned plot. :rotfl:
