If we have time and/or the energy after the picnic we might run by Wal-Mart and pick out a booster seat for DS. I keep putting it off but I really need to just bite the bullet and do it. I think I keep making excuses for putting it off because I think he might be safer in his nice 5 point harness car seat but he really is getting too big for it. Legally he could have been in a booster since mid-May.
I think that everyone goes thru this. I just couldn't believe that he would be as save in that. Actually the hardest change was when he was too tall for the highback booster.

They are calling for 87 as the high here tomorrow. I think it just might be the last of the hot weather since a cold front is moving through and the highs for the next 10 days are not forecast to rise much above 70. The high for Tuesday is only supposed to be 62 with lows in the low 40s. Brrrrr!I might have to turn on the heater that night.
Today it is finally not raining! It is overcast though. Tomorrow is a pool party for DH's work group so I hope that the 80s is true here too.
DS has a birthday party to go to on Sunday afternoon. I need to go out and buy the birthday boy a gift. I asked DS what he likes and he said trucks really quickly. He then started talking about Bob the Builder so I think I have a good idea of what he would like. Now I just need to find something in my price range. I have been giving things in the $5 range. Is that reasonable for preschool classmates parties? I never know how much I should spend.
I think that $5 is reasonable. Kids that age have so many little things. You can get alot of things in that range. I always kept a tub with clearanced toys in it so it was easy when the parties started. There sure were alot of them in PS. There haven't been any in elementary school so far.
