Does she have teeth coming in?
Yes, just last week she had one break through the gum on the bottom. I have been using those teething tablets but for some reason they don't seem to be working anymore.

I have to go to Walmart today. I guess I will stop at Dunkin Donuts and get myself a coffee caffine fix. I usually avoid caffine, but I may need it today.

At the risk of sounding like I'm pushing drugs, you need to get that caffeine Brandi! You wouldn't want to miss DWTS tonight!!!

V - so glad to hear that. Yes, we still have our pool open, but not for swimming purposes...it just looks nice right now. We did open our hot tub and have been in that a lot lately!!

Hang in there!!

yes, it's been a long time coming....June '05 we signed the contract. I was hoping to have a first birthday luau for Haley out there...but maybe a second birthday!

Luckily it's heated and we have a hot tub becuase come November it will be a tad chilly here to swim!!

I cant wait though. It's been frustrating shelling out so much money on something you can look at but not enjoy.

I feel like I am from the land of the living dead. Eliza has been up so much lately I never get sleep. She was up from 2:30 until 5:30 SCREAMING her head off. I would rock her to sleep, put her in her crib, walk to my room:tiptoe:, get in bed, and she would instantly start up again. :guilty:  :sad2: . At 5:30 I took her to bed with me...this is something DH and I are both against....but I was desperate. My sanity was hanging by a thread! At 6:30 DH took her to her bed and then she was howling again at 7:30  .

I have to go to the store today and I feel like :chewy: . I have a lack of sleep headache.

Ok...enough whining from me...Eliza is crying again...bye guyes.

Hugs to ya Brandi. Those nights are not fun!!! I remember those so clearly! Guess you don't have a guest room or couch you could have gone to?

For us - we always tried not to bring the kids into our beds when they were infants/small....but surprisingly, they are in our beds more now that they are older kids. It is our family cuddling time. We often end our days or start the mornings off with everyone in our bed. We talk and laugh and chat...its is so nice and cozy. As a mom, i'll take those moments for as long as my little boys are willing!!

Try to get some rest.

Good Morning Everyone! :wave2: Here are my morning ramblings…. ;)

Another day closer to the cruise…. :yay: I believe it will be 12 weeks from this upcoming Saturday. That does not seem so far away. I really should get serious about getting out my “cruise box” and start getting things gathered so I can begin packing in about 10 weeks! :rotfl:

Brandi – I am sorry to hear that Eliza is waking up so much. I know that is no fun. How many teething tablets do you give her? We used to give DD 2-3 when she was that age right before bed and then another 2-3 if she woke up again. If she seemed to be in a lot of discomfort from teething we would also give her some infant motrin right before bedtime. Is it possible she might have an ear infection or something that could be causing her pain? They say the pain is worse at night when they are laying down.

We have done the “bring her to our bed” thing on occasion but we try to make it very rare because we don’t want her permanently there. ;) For a few weeks she would always wake up around 4-4:30 and we started just bringing her in with us because we did not want to get up that early. After a few weeks she stopped waking up at that time and went back to her normal sleep schedule.

Pirates – I don’t think DH could carry off the pirate look very well for you guys. Besides I think I have him considering shaving off that beard so hopefully that won’t be a factor. ;)

It was much cooler here this morning. When we left the house if was only 53 although our high is going to be around 75. Both of the kids were not happy that they had to wear pants. I actually need to go out today and buy some more fall clothes for the kids and some new tennis shoes for DD. She has been wearing sandals all summer long but it is just getting to chilly for that now. I don’t think she will be happy about the change.

Driving to work this morning I noticed gas was down to 2.19/gallon. I hope it stays this low or lower by early December because that will save us quite a bit of money.

V - Great news on the pool! :cool1:

Brandi - I hope you make it through the day. I'l be thinking about you.
On a cuddling note. Now that DD is 12 and is barely snuglable anymore I'd give anything for a few more years of kids in the bed.

Weather report - Looks like rain all day here today. But I'm not complaining. We are still under drought conditions and I have to water my plants every three days after 4:00pm to keep them alive. Otherwise my yard would look like the surface of Mars. My water bill should be a modest $15. per month but it's more like $50. That's still not a big bill but it shows how much more county water I use than usual.

We didn't watch any of that alphabet soup of programs y'all did last night but we did watch a dvd of western caribbean islands to visit. Now our list of places we want to go is even longer. Looks like we'll have to take grandchildren on some of them, oh shoot!

Becka - I am jealous of your cool temps!! It is in the 90's here. But I'll take that over snow any day.

I am excited to get all the cruise stuff together...I have a feeling I will be taking too much.

Since June '05?? :scared1: What was the holdup? We signed for our pool and we were swimming 3 months later.

It is still $2.85 here :sad2: I did hear on the news that it is expected to continue to fall thru Thanksgiving, and yes that will be a blessing for all of us! News reports say they don't know why Orygun prices have not fallen much. :confused3 Just lucky I guess.

One more note that deserves it's own space.

I love love love the mickey ear pirate flag.

Patsy, it is a real struggle and sacrafice to take those grandkids with you but I am sure you will be up to the challenge when the time comes. ;) :lmao: :rotfl2:

I'm off to the courthouse to see if the judge is still DISing this morning and if he will share! :surfweb: :lmao: :rotfl2:

MVMCP --- we think it's awesome. You need a seperate ticket to get in but its such fun. Most all the rides are open everything is decorated, you get hot cocoa, cookies, there is a special parade amd fireworks.

My drama queen sister bought her tickets yesterday! So she'll be coming with us and she's trying to weasel her way into our October trip, which is fine but stresses me on the ADR issue...but she always adds a definite element to my trup reports.

So, we'll be there on the 7th. I have a reservation for Tony's town square but I am trying to change it to something else.

V, what else are you looking at? I haven't made any ADRs for Thursday night. If you decide to book something else, please let me know before you cancel Tony's!

OMG Tana, there are ALL kinds of special Santa hats for sale at WDW - we have the ones with Mickey Ears, and one with a Minnie bow for Sophia. You can get one's that have Stitch ears, Pooh ears, and several others. If you want Disney one's there will be plenty to choose from at WDW.

John1

oh good, I'll just wait and buy them there. Thanks for the info!

Mum and or Tana,

Sophia says you guys could borrow hers . . . BUT, I will have to find him. IMHO, Pal Mickey is more fun away from the parks. I'm sure he does everything they advertise, but when we took him to the parks, we either did not feel him "shake", and even if we did, with all the noise in the parks, we usually could not hear what he said.

Pal Mickey needs a digital readout. Anyway, I will let you know if we find him - she thinks he is in the basement with her other stuffed animals. Of course, we do not get to WDW until late Tuesday night.

John1

OK, you've convinced me to buy one!! That's so nice of Sophia to be willing to share hers, tell her thank you for me. I'll let Mum take her up on the offer. Thanks,
