Hi everyone! We have been at an Ice Skating competition for DD this weekend and just got home. Good News!! She won!!! First place!!

Congratulations!! to the skater and to the parents who got her to lessons and practices!

Too bad the Magic does not have a rink - we could have a DIS meet and all try to skate, with demonstrations of real skating courtesy Savannah

Thank you everyone for the camera advise. I wrote down John's settings so I can try them out. Very scary to leave the auto focus but I think I can do it!

Hope I did not confuse you . . . you can still use autofocus. These settings are just for exposure. You can manually focus if you want to, and sometimes you may want to for an especially dark scene, but you don't have to.

thank you for the info. its been a bear trying to book excursions for 4 cabins when 2 could book at 90 days and the other 2 at 75 and i pray we can some how manage to book palo brunch for myself and dh.

autumn is doing ok, she had her 11th brain surgery in May and it definately has helped but she will never be 100%,the surgery has helped with her pain but she is still on pain meds 24/7, just wish my little girl would be back to her old self again but they do not think that will ever happen. but she is so excited to do this cruise as are the other 3 girls and the rest of my family. we now have 14 people going with us, my parents, brothers sister in law neices and nephews and our 4 girls. we have been told this maybe our last family vacation so we are going to do our best to make it absolutely the best. we are hoping that we can upgrade to a veranda at port for a minimum amount so that if autumn is having a bad day she can still enjoy the view. unfortunately the prices are just to high right now to upgrade.

Missy, when they announced the final score of the Bengals - Steelers game at Cleveland Brown's Stadium, there was a HUGE CHEER!

I soooo much want to get the Barbossa costume that I found online, so that I can be the villian to Todd's CJS, but I am having a great deal of difficulty justifying the expense. It is NOT cheap.

I am trying to balance how much fun it would be, with having a good time no matter what . . .
