Todd - do you think we should reconsider the catamaran sail? There will be 5 of us and it seems silly to spend the money if the snorkeling won't be that good - I'm not sure where they take you.

We just had so much fun on a sail last Dec. in St. John that we all really want to go again. The ride alone was fun - we kayak and never move that fast - LOL.

While looking at the Navs I did run across a question. It looked like DS would have to be in the club by 3:30 for the Celebrate the Journey show prep. DH, DD and I could get ready for dinner after the bingo jackpot and before the show but it might be tight. We would then not get a great seat for the show. It says the show does not end until 5:45 and then we still have to pick him up. How in the world does that work. Doesn't everyone with 5:30/5:45 seatings then miss the first part of dinner? How do we get up to the club, get DS dressed and get to dinner on time? If it was a normal casual dinner I would just dress him before the show but this is semi-formal night. The timing on this really confuses me.

No, it is 4 pm for the practice. The show is at 5 and gets out around 5:20. The kids don't get back to the club until 5:35 or so. It will be a rush for us to get them back to the room & changed for dinner. 5:30 people will be late for lobster night....not a smart move on DCL's part. Trust me though....it is MUCH better than having it at 5 pm on Friday after a full day at CC & needing to pack.

What I always do is drop them at the club (which lately we have the wine & cheese 2-4 so they are already there ), go to the room & get changed for dinner (you can shower & get your hair ready before the wine & cheese), go to the theater by 4:40 to get a decent seat (though last time they had the last bingo game and we just grabbed a seat & waited then, watch the show, book it out of there and have one person check out as many kids as possible. I will have DS on check out privs for that night so that he can meet us outside the club...one less line to wait in. Take the kids upstairs where their clothes are already out on the bed & change them. Go to dinner.

No. I don't think there is a nurse. I met every staff person including all the maintenance people and I never saw a nurse.... Monday is Pizza day, and she loves Pizza!

No nurse? That is surprising. Even we have a nurse. She isn't a member of the official staff, but she has to be there. We even ask her to come to the carnival in case there is an injury.

well Samantha just woke up...their schedules are way off today. I don't mind them being up with me....I don't like being alone all that much. Mac and cheese is heating up!

Elaine, our kids are already excited about going up on stage with Mickey again. They wouldn't let us forget about it. The smiles on their faces make it worth the little bit of rush. The kids get a tshirt with the DSeaU emblem on it and graduation hats with ears. They show a video with pictures & video of the kids from the time in the clubs in it. DD is determined to be in the video this year. I told her to ham it up whenever they are taking pictures & she just might. She ran from their camera last year. LOL!
