Once you get assigned a table in the dining room I am assuming that you cannot change it? What if there is a DIS family nearby that has young kids and we all think it would be fun to have the kids sit together with the adults?

I know you can change if there is a conflict but what about other reasons? or is there a way to select another DIS family with young children and get seated with them?

I'm not familiar with how the dining room works?

Elaine, I don't have you on the list for linked dining?

If you were on the linked dining you could switch around with the people in your serving section. You would all share the same servers and be tipping the same people. Your servers will probably know what you want to drink the second night & if you want your kids to eat early to go to the clubs. We don't plan on switching around too much so that our severs don't get confused. The only thing we might do depending on how they are acting if we don't get our 8 & 4 together is put the three kids at the 4 top & the adults at the 8 top...but the seperate tables would be right next to each other.

If you are not linked with the group, you wouldn't be able to just switch around in the dining room. You are assigned to a table either way.

No , you are not committed at this point , but the sooner I know the smoother things will go as we draw closer ....I would say that 30 days out will be the cut off point .

thanks....I will let you know asap...Johnny is having a hard time taking the girls/not taking the girls, if we do..drinking and who will drive, etc....and since we are leaving them on the ship in CM....

Todd - what are your thoughts on the all inclusive resort deals? I am not sure what beach this is but apparantly its 15 min cab ride from the pier.

We looked at some all-inclusives in Cozumel but I think in the end we will mostly treat it as a sea day although DH wants to get off in the morning and look around. The kids and I may go with him or just stay onboard..dont' know yet.

We know we already have two full beach days at CC so another full beach day seemed like overkill.

The potatoes are done and DH is working on the steaks right now. Yummy! He is also cooking some hot dogs for the kids since both of them change their mind about steak each time we eat it.

DD is watching the Wiggles and DS is trying to stay out of trouble. He has way too much pent up energy today for some reason. He can't play without running from one side of the house to the other yelling.

No, I was cooking dinner, finishing up the ironing, doing dishes, & sweeping off the deck. There are some blue berries with all the leaves & sticks & it was quite a mess. My neck hurts, I am worn out, there is one more load in the dryer...then I am done! DH cleaned the kid's rooms when he was up there putting in the new windows. I think that our room is the only one still not freshly cleaned...oh, and the bathrooms. I will probably wait until Monday to wash the kitchen floors. The carpets didn't get cleaned in May like I usually do so that needs to get done too. I am going to need a vacation after all this gets done!

I did have to do a bunch of cleaning and the boys wanted their rooms rearranged. DH bought one of those Select Comfort Beds and it should arrive early next week.

Well that created the bed domino effect. Our bed (king) goes into the guest room...that bed (queen) goes into my younger DSs room and his bed (queen) currently sits in the hall b/c silly me thought it would fit under his or his brother's bed. It doesn't. Hmm....what to do with an extra queen. Even though his bed was supposed to be good quality, I can't sleep comfortably in it, so I'm giving him the guest room bed that seems more comfy.

DH just took DS to WM to pick up some paper tape. He took the top of his left foot off last night when he fell off his scooter and the large bandaids that we have wont stay on his foot. It looks pretty gross. I have bandages but no tape. This afternoon the chain came off of his bike. OY! He isn't going to like getting cleaned up today but that foot is dirty & I don't want it to get infected.
