Good morning everyone! Over 10 pages?!?!? YIKES! I guess that I had better get busy. I have already hit WM & HT & put everything away. I found the lime green napkins & tablecloth and hot pink plates at WM for .99 each! That saves me 2.00 each!!!

Lisa - what time are your kids on the bus for school?

this afternoon K. thing is killing me - the bus picks them up at 12pm so we have to eat lunch at 11:30am and then when they get home if we eat dinner too early they want to eat again before going to bed. somehow I must be doing something wrong.

so does everyone have all their excursions/reservation days all set/picked out? I will be working on that today. All I know is trying for brunch on Monday 10:30.....other than that?? We talked about parasailing on one of the CC days and the other CC day just renting floats, snorkle gear and bikes....

Becka - my son did a lot of those things in pre-school - they learn by making mistakes though - so don't be embarassed about it. It is part of his learning experience.

Make sure the teachers are following the same kind of discipline that you have at home so that he doesn't get confused by mixed messages.

Make sure he knows that you love HIM but not his behavior. Time outs are effective if it gives him the chance to decide he would rather re-join the group and follow the group rules rather than sit alone.

Then they get it and go thru a growth spurt and somehow have to relearn it all. It's a struggle.

Another question... DD is still not eating and you know what is really wierd? No one at the school has said anything. I only know because I ask. Is that odd?

OK, I wonder what is going around. DS refused to eat or drink anything for breakfast the past two days. He is driving me crazy! His lunch is gone and he eats a little bit for dinner...but not much. Last night he only ate 2 bagle bites.

Amy is going away for the weekend on her annual golf outing. Last year one of the ladies brought her mom, and when the mom was kicked out of the watering hole they had gone to, since she had a few sheets to the wind and was looking for the horizon, they had to comandeer a shopping cart to put her in to get her across the street.

Yeah, Amy and her group are a shy bunch.

I am Hokie by marriage. Sorry but the tarheel stuff is in your face too much around here along with the pirates. I stay loyal no matter where we live.

DH and I are both UNC grads, so we present a unified sports front.

That's right! I graduated from JMU and they haven't done too badly. They won a national championship a couple years ago. I just don't follow them. You can't hang around DH & not get excited about their football team. I had never watched college football before meeting him. He would run out on the porch when they scored a touchdown and jump around with his hands raised up in the air. For those of you who haven't met my introverted DH, that is way out of character for him. I found that the college kids played harder than the pros and actually stopped following the NFL games. This will be my 12th season cheering for the Hokies. They have had a GREAT football team!

I stay loyal no matter where we live.

As it should be.
There are people who think I should suddenly become a fan of the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, Villanova, Temple, Penn State, St. Joe's, etc. because I live here now. Why would I do that? (Besides, it's fun to really annoy the Eagles fans when you wear your Steeler gear.)

I am freaking out!! I called DCL just for the heck of it to make sure I showed as PIF....they said no...I just called my TA and left a message and also emailed him!!!

I have Browns season tickets. Only been to one OSU game.

I MUST say I had 10 times more fun at the OSU game than any recent Browns game. Of course, we have stunk since Art Modell stole our team and moved them to Baltimore.

And, BTW, how about that for fan loyalty? The ONLY team that moved that did not get to take their name, colors, and history with them. The only town that got their team back after a move with our colors, name and history.

Unfortunately, we still stink since that return.

OK, so that tells me where the Ravens came from. We passed their stadium last week on our way out of Baltimore. It's right next to the Oriole's stadium. Traffic must be terrible when there are games.

Neither one. Of course by that point you are rooting for other teams to win and knock a team that is challenging yours out of contention for a SB berth. That is the only time that I root for someone other than the Red Skins. Well....unless a Cowchip game is on, then I root for whatever team is playing them.
