There are people who think I should suddenly become a fan of the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, Villanova, Temple, Penn State, St. Joe's, etc. because I live here now. Why would I do that? (Besides, it's fun to really annoy the Eagles fans when you wear your Steeler gear.)

Honestly, I have more respect for a true fan than one who changes with the weather or location.

Yes, because he was trying to keep an eye on the escape artist AKA DD. I think he was a bit stressed with the crowd at the aquarium. He talked when we had dinner that night in Gaithersburg...well...when WE let him get a word in. I that the three of us chatted most of the way thru lunch & didn't let the guys say very much. Your DH & DD were getting annoyed by the end of it. I think that it was DIS overload. It is one thing to have to deal with you on the computer typing to us but quite another when three of us are in the same room & able to talk. I found myself biting my lip because I was going to respond like we do online or in chat but I wouldn't have heard you if I had talked too. LOL! What are we going to do when we are all together?!?!?!?!

Vanessa - this happened to me also with TA - you must get it resolved today or you may have trouble booking this weekend - some of the cruise operation desks are closed on the weekends. I booked through a group plan/price and they weren't open again until monday.

Keep calling until you get them - I had to pull out the big guns!!!

Lisa has MET Amy . . .

You guys have brought out her real personality on the boards. We will see if is still there when you meet her. Lots of people think Amy is shy when they meet her - or they think she is aloof. She REALLY is shy when she first meets people, and is not talkative until she is comfortable with you.

When Lisa came to meet us at the beach before our cruise two cruises ago, Amy did not even want to come out to the pool to meet her. She was thinking crazy internet friends of John's! She did finally come out after much cajoling from me. Once she warmed up to Lisa, all that changed.

I used to be like that - but I am getting more and more like my father (who used to embarass me as a child). I like to talk to everyone. Amy now thinks I talk too much. I decided I liked meeting and getting to know people too much to keep being shy. I still don't hold a candle to a friend of mine though who is a real "Mr. Personality".

Amy sounds a lot like me. Until I'm comfortable around someone I come across as shy. I have really bad social anxiety so it's always difficult for me at first. Once I'm comfortable though, you can't shut me up.

KIM!!!!!! Not sure if you saw this on the main board.
It is called the princess package at the spa. Check with concierge ASAP when you board!

The package is only offered on port days I beleive. During the August repo. my DD 9 had the manicure & pedicure in the Princess Package.

They explained that they only offered it while the ship was docked, to avoid any accidental pokes with the tools due to ship movement.

in tears!! Ok DCL claims the CM this morning was out of line as they are not allowed to discuss payments at all if you booked via an agent. She wouldn't tell me anything either just to get the conf fax from my TA.....this could be a big issue!! If I am unable to book - I would have to go through my TA to verify payment, etc.......

For the record, I wasn't exactly 'annoyed' but the constant DIScussions drive me crazy. Kristina gets into these discussions and always has something to say but I'm a listener (sometimes, never if you ask her) and wasn't trying to be rude...just felt overwhelmed by all the Disney stuff. She knows I don't like crowds and I get overwhelmed by too much meet-and-greet. - I hate pictures, hard to catch me on the receiving end of a camera. I am a go-along-with-the-crowd guy and keep to myself. Low on radar.....DD is also like that...I am constantly bombarded by DisneyDetails at home and it drives me batty..."where are we gonna eat""what time""what day are we doing this...""do you wanna go to the pool on Thursday at 2:15 on December 12???""Pirate night this...""Pirate outfit that..." AHHHH!!!! You think I'm bad? Meet my dad...he is 10X worse...(as the crowd screams, IS THAT POSSIBLE?)

All I know is that there's a boat and its goes to Mexico and Castaway Key (sorry, CC) TWICE ... and its called the Wonder (just found that part out). We are going to Jelly Rolls(JR) and Palo? (umm.. yeah...don't know that one) I just want to enjoy my vacation ....spend time with DW and DD (<--he he) and have fun. If we meet some cool people there, great...sounds like DW is off to a good start, but I just don't want Disney shoved down my throat...for something that I enjoy so much, I just don't want to grow bored of it.
