Kristina, are you talking girls XL? or ladies XL? They are out of the girls... still on hold....
Kristina is not on right now, but I looked at her last post about the dress and it looks like she wants woman's XL.

Thanks Angie! Unfortunately Disney wouldn't let me add on to my order. Bummer!!!

I am watching last night's BB. I have to say that Howie is scum! :( Very disappointing because I use to root for him.

I used to like Howie too but last night I realized he's a bitter, obnoxious brat!

I was surprised Janelle evicted Will. Smart girl, but I'm a little sad to see him go, he was really funny.

One of our DGS's bus has slid off the road TWICE!! No one injured either time. The road they go on is very narrow and has a few tricky curves AND has gravel trucks coming and going.

That is scary!! Thank goodness no one has been hurt.

Well, hamburger meat is out for meatloaf & potatoes tonight. It's another rainy & dreary day here. Laundry is starting again and I have to decide what to do about DD's party. Off to check out OT.com since they don't have the luau stuff in the last catalogs.

We finally have the sun back after a rainy day yesterday. The grass is way too high again, so I may mow during DS3's naptime. That counts as exercise, right?

Does your team have a name?? :teeth:

We call ourselves OPEN SEASON, meaning other teams have open season on us to win points, lol. This year we might change it to YOUR WELCOME (for the win.) Or the other thought is I'M NOT THE CAPTAIN, since no one wants to be the captain.

Although last night we took all 7 points (2 for each game and 1 for overall pins!) And I bowled over my average.

Yea for you! :cheer2:

We have bowled on leagues a few times over the years and had great fun doing it. We were AFTER MIDNIGHT on one league...the league ended at 11:00 pm. We always had hopes that we would do better after midnight. :rotfl:

I checked on our ressies. CC number is there, PIF, we are set to book midnight Saturday! :woohoo: It really is getting close now! :Pinkbounc :bounce: Now if I could just find some decent airfare!! :sad2: I'll give it another 2 weeks or so, checking daily, and then just bite the bullet if they don't come down. :surfweb:

It counts as far as I'm concerned!! I'll be doing that today, too.

UGH! I have never planned for a party like this. I have always bought ahead of time & just pulled everything out of the boxes. I have complete party supplies for Monsters Inc, Barbie, and HP. OK I usually stuff the goodie bags but since I am going by full price here how does this sound for the goodie bags?

For the girls....

For the boys...

I also have tropical tattoos and leis in my cart.

To keep it colorful....lime green napkins, hot pink cake plates, tourquoise food plates, and purple forks???

for those mom's....when you didn't attend a child's party did you send a gift anyway? I think 3 yrs old is early for children's parties....like inviting the entire preschool class but they have been doing this since last year. Sadly...fall is so busy for us and Saturday's are almost impossible for us to attend a party and let alone get a baby sitter for the little one. I am just wondering if I am being rude not sending a gift?

I added more to it. :) IDK yet. I would like to have it in September. Sundays are bad because of CCD not getting us home until 1. The pool doesn't open until 2 that day but I like to be able to do last minute things beforehand. We have a party to go to on 9/16, so that leaves 9/23.

If we don't go to the party, we don't worry about a gift. Now, if it is one of the kid's close friends who we would give a gift to even without a party we still do.

We have been doing parties since the first. That one had adult family friends as well as kids. After that, it was only the kids....play group & friends, then preschool was added, then soccer, then kindergarten. We don't invite the class anymore because most of the kids just don't come anyway & I want to get away from the big parties. This year DS is just having a couple friends over to sleep over.

It's a ton of work having these parties!! We've had parties for the girls but it's always been family...no school children. This year we are just going to the Mickey Halloween party for Samantha's birthday (just the four of us) and then I will send in a cake and goodies to her school for the class.

Honestly, if I'm not good friends with the parents and the kid isn't family I don't give a gift if my kids don't attend the party.
