You mean Kristina???

Believe me - I'm so depressed about my weight that I wouldn't be looking for some little wikiwiki dress or anything else that would yell, "HEY - LOOK AT ALL MY FAT HANGING OUT"

I have been feeling the same.....
I am officially starting to log what I eat today....I even ate breakfast...special k with 1% milk...yum!
I am determined to at least lose some before the cruise. I weigh within 5 pounds of when I actually had Haley...that is driving me nuts. I've been pretty slack though and now I mean business. Really!
I went to Publix yesterday and brought in frozen WW meals for lunch, SF jello's, pretzel sticks and Diet Dr Pepper...to get me through the week at work!

Yeah Caroline....how quickly you forget me......

Actually the dress isn't that bad... Very stretchy cottony material... i was just going to wear the shirt from the set but i the dress i bought for DD is way too big for her and fits me. So the extra one is for her. I saw that you ordered already Tana but maybe they could add it to your order if you call. Please please.

(and Karen you remind me of the nurtisystem ad with the girl who lost 30lbs to be a size 2. :rotfl: I mean i guess she was just such a cow at size 6 or 8  )

Believe me Karen, I've seen worse...much worse...much much worse... you are fine... We can't all be a size 2....

I got the Waikiki dress in M and it runs huge!! I am going to have my grandma take it in a little.

I think poor Becka is dealing with a sick DH. Or maybe that was just a cover story.

Believe me he wishes it was a cover. The poor guy is home again today and feeling pretty miserable. It is either a stomach flu or some kind of food poisoning. :(

Hope he is feeling better soon....that's the worst!

Uh....2???? You dropped the 1...12 is what I'm hoping for!!!! I'm a big stress eater and I just want to fit into a 12!!! The other day I had this giant sized party mix sitting on my desk. My staff knew not to bother me. And I am not a salt person, so they KNEW it was a bad day if I'm eating pretzels and nachos and cheesey things. YUCK!!! But it was the only food in the office.

Even though my TA says I'm paid in full, I don't want one of those last minute rate changes to show that I still owe $2 and then I can't make ressies. Should I call the 800 number or ask my TA again?

i know what you mean.... Luckily, our vending machines are far away on another floor and usually don't have anything good so the only junk is what i can carry in. (since i have to walk from where i park a couple blocks, i don't like to carry much.)

I have some popcorn popcorn:: or a granola bar i could share?

I once knew someone who couldn't eat when she was stressed. (boy was i jealous.)

Our vending machine never has anything good...during the day I am usually ok...it's the night time that gets me.

Don't you know that you can watch the shows on CBS.com? They do the same thing ABC does with Lost, Alias, & DH. You can watch the entire show online. :)

hey lisa - welcome back - oh, yes, I know - I meant that I was adjusting the times for Windfall (not BB) - brain freeze - got a lot of them lately!!

I have all 4 of our CC #'s. I went to the DCL site, put in my reservation and then entered my CC #. It recognized me which I guess it a good thing. However, I could not find a way to put in more than one CC #. Will this be a problem when I try to make the 90 day reservations. The main person on the reservation is Aaron - do I need to put in his CC # instead of mine?

I am starting to panic as this weekend gets closer.

Stay tuned for next Tuesday . . .

Just got this in an email newsletter that I get . . .

"Apple Computer sent out invitations Tuesday to an event next week in San Francisco with the clue ``It's Showtime'' -- fueling speculation about its plans to distribute movies online."

And maybe new iPods??????

cute pix everyone!!
v - I can't find the cord to my crock pot!!

Here's what happened exciting in our lives Monday - My Kendell (the clutzy one!) slipped and fell head first into the sharp side of a split rail fence - gashed his head open 2.5 cm - spent 2 hours (actually not bad) in the ER getting 2 sets of stitches and 'superglue' - it was soooo grooosss - the nurse was more worried about me than him! LOL He was such a brave little trooper - never cried the whole time they were working on him....so I kept him home yesterday...he's doing really well!!

Now, if the new cat would quit crying all night to go out so that I could get some sleep - I'd be doing great! LOL

I dont know what Im going to do about the challenge - I'd like to lose 10 lbs, but I am so tired all the time and cannot find the will power to stop snacking! or at least eat healthier...

Becka, you just need one of the CC numbers linked to your resie to be ok. :)

More details . . .

It could be `Showtime' for Apple movie downloads
COMPANY MAY OFFER SERVICE ON ITUNES
By Michelle Quinn
Mercury News
Apple Computer sent out invitations Tuesday to an event next week in San Francisco with the clue ``It's Showtime'' -- fueling speculation about its plans to distribute movies online.

One rumor has Apple Computer announcing it will begin to sell full-length movies that can be downloaded at its iTunes store.

Another predicts the Cupertino company will start to sell video iPods with bigger screens. Or maybe it will be an iTunes cell phone. Still another has the company selling a video streaming device that could put video on any screen in the home, including the television.

They all might be true. What seems certain is that Tuesday in San Francisco, Steve Jobs, Apple's chief executive, will don his trademark black turtleneck shirt and jeans, take the stage at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theatre and unveil new products and services, striving to cast an iPod spell on the Christmas shopping season.

A company spokesman declined to comment about the speculation or about the company's marketing strategy. Apple's stock rose 4.5 percent, or $3.10 a share, to $71.48, on speculation around the Tuesday event.

The invitation itself contains a few big hints. Spotlights scan the sky on a black, gray and white background, illuminating the Apple logo in the center. ``It's Showtime'' may be the biggest clue and one that has led Apple aficionados to wide speculation.

``The word `showtime' may mean Apple is going to go more into long-form video, perhaps motion pictures,'' said Michael Gartenberg, vice president and research director at Jupiter Research in New York. ``Whether it's a rental or subscription model or on what devices, I can't say. With Steve Jobs, it can always be one more thing as well.''

Last year, Apple introduced the video iPod and earlier this year, it began to sell downloads of TV episodes at its iTunes store. Jobs himself has courted Hollywood studios and has one deal with Disney, where he is its biggest shareholder following the sale of Pixar Animation to the entertainment giant.

``Looking at the invite, it's likely going to be movie related,'' said Shaw Wu, analyst with American Technology Research. ``It's the next logical step. The focus is probably going to be on the content side.''

But ``It's Showtime'' could just refer to the show that Jobs will put on. Not everyone believes the announcement is only going to be about movies. ``It's been a year since we've seen new iPods,'' said Larry Angell, senior editor at iLounge, a publication based in Irvine dedicated to Apple's iPod, iTunes and related products. ``Apple's not going to let last year's models sit on shelves for the second straight holiday shopping season. The only question is whether Apple has a radically new iPod ready or if we'll see more minor revisions.''

But Angell said it is possible the company will introduce a ``home media product,'' something that will make it possible to download music, movies and TV shows into the living room. ``Many have said that they'd never watch a two-hour movie on their iPod, and would only consider buying movies online if they could watch them on their TV,'' Angell said.

oh my - I hope your little guy is ok. We have not had the pleasure of super glue yet but have done both staples and stitches. I love these new fast track ER visits - because I would get too tense waiting for 3 hours in the ER waiting room.

It was probably a good idea to keep him home - I think ice cream for the pain is in order too.
