I know, I always see the greatest sets - in the city I saw beautiful ones - storing them is the problem because they are delicate.

I went to pick up a few more things for the GSs for school (backpack, socks, etc) and found some more things for guess what?? THE CRUISE!! Our local department/grocery store is having 60% off the last clearance price on summer stuff. I got Aaron 2 more pair of shorts for $2.99 each and a pair of athletic shoes (for the Costa Maya ruin trip) for $7.99, regular 30 some bucks! I also got a couple of shirts for DrHug since they were just giving stuff away. He got a very pretty tropical shirt and a t-s***t that says "Grandpa is the Name, Spoilin' is the Game" on the front. It was just so appropriate for him and just a few bucks!

My turkey is stuffed and in the oven. The potatoes are cooking and i am on my 2nd load of dishes. The laundry is in and now the house is a disaster! I am going to work on that next...

Yes, I took the day off the DIS!

I spent the whole day doing yardwork, and then taking Sophia to the county fair (she begged me to go - I HATE the fair). I don't mind the animals and the 4-h stuff, that is actually neat, what I can't stand is the second rate rides and carnies and mean rude people out there.

This is also the time of year that my allergies are in full "bloom" so going to the dusty fair does me no good at all.

Now I have a lot of DIS catching up to do.

Please tell me this is not true! DD LOVES animals. Cried the whole way through brother bear 2 because they got hurt. I can not buy a doll that does that. I already have a dog that does that.

As we were going through the livestock barns at the fair (we were in the diary barn) one of the ladies in there let out a stream of cow patties just as we were walking by - totally freaked Sophia out - I think it was the shear VOLUME of the stuff. She could not get out of that barn fast enough!

I tried to explain that ALL animals do that - just like her dog. But, no more cows for Sophia!
