They have started calling me Julie (from the love boat).

Diana, That is one of my cruise buddie's nicknames. We call her Julie the CD. Even her emails pertaining to the cruise are signed Julie the CD.

The storm is slowing down so now they are saying that it wont hit land near here until Friday morning. We should be able to get out. This is going to sound silly to those of you who fly alot...but do they fly in thunderstorms? I really hope not. IDK who is going to be more upset on this flight....me or DD.

I am going to start taking my med in the morning tomorrow instead of at night to see if my drowsiness in the afternoon will be shifted to nighttime. Tomorrow will be interesting either way.

I have flown in thunder and snow storms. I have also had them delayed for both reasons....I guess it depends on how bad they are.

We are driving to your home state on Friday. I hope it is nice after the storm passes through!

I can't take the kids out before 11:30 or they will be counted absent unexcused for the day. We will be cutting it close getting to the airport as it is. It is looking better.

Maybe they made up and found some more yard sale items that need pricing!!

I hoe they were so busy pricing they never made it back to the boards!

Disney Direct is driving me crazy today. I'm trying to get some of those $2.99 swim trunks for DS and the site keeps running so slow and then ends up telling me I have nothing in my cart when I go to checkout.

Diana - thanks for your reply - I just don't want to offend anyone by not giving to every child but since there is already 70 kids I don't know what would be good for every age group. Maybe as we get closer to cruise time othes will fill us in about what they are doing. Not sure if I trust shipping chocolate to Florida even in Dec. - what if it sits somewhere outside and melts?

Lisa, they fly in all kinds of weather. I hate de-icing the most because you know if you are sitting out there waiting for too long, you have to go back and de-ice.... I have seen quite a few flights cancelled for wind however.

Concentrate on DD and your mommy instincts will not allow you to get more stressed out than she is. My big rule on the plane is if the flight attendants are walking around, everything is ok. So just look for them and watch thier faces if you get stressed out.

Oh my! I am becoming planning obsessed! I have now been over on the dining boards and have printed the list of what/where you can use your snacks on the dining plan. Oh please!! SOMEBODY STOP ME!!! For Pete's sake, we will get a snack when we are hungry! OY

The of milestones and TOP competition has been going on since early planning for the 2004 10 day cruise. I don't remember exactly how it started, but it was in late 2003 or early 2004. Quite a few of those DISers from that cruise are on the 10 day, so I am sure they brought that with them.

Goodness! I had to turn off the computer for a bit. The lightening was on the next street over and the ground was shaking. DD thought that all her toys were going to disappear....I wish. That round seems to have passed but the storm brewing in here is rediculous. DD got a bday gift from her godmother yesterday and from her godfather & his wife today. DS is stomping around demanding his guitar which is suppose to be for his bday in November. OY BOY! That thing will be returned if this keeps up.
