Angie, they gave me IV demoral when I first got the hospital, then the injection of it later. OUCH!! It really didn't help for very long and I was much more comfortable at home in my own surrounding where I could scream as loud as I wanted! :lmao: I can't remember what I took at home though.
The demorol did not help me either and it made me sick to my stomach. DrHug told them would happen when they were going to give it. But did they listen to the drug man?? Nope, but they did then give me the torodo shot which really knocked the pain. They then gave me a couple of pills to take for longer acting relief and I went back to our room and slept.

She wil be in 7th. The Jr High is 7th and 8th grade. HS is WAY to close!! :faint:

I know Sarah will know plenty of people. She will be fine pretty much where she goes. Now Amanda may be a different story when her time comes!

I looks pretty Angie, but the playground at our ferry terminal has it and the kids get filthy! I am not sure if it has to do with where you get it. The contractor said there is some dust and didn't seem to be able to give a very straight answer as to just HOW dirty one would get. The closest place that sells it is almost 2 hours away, but I want to go up and actully see it first before we buy it. I also read some things on the internet about how it can kill your plants. But of course , it is the internet. :rotfl:
Well if it's on the internet then it must be true! :surfweb: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: The stuff on TV (and so that must be true too! :rotfl2: ) was the colored stuff. I don't know if that would make a difference in whether they get dirty from it. Maybe it is treated to give it color.

I'm gonna say goodnight. Laundry to do tomorrow. I wish you DH a safe and enjoyable trip.

Ok, one last catch up story.

Amanda was in a looping class last year for first grade meaning she could stay in the same class, kids, teacher, for 2nd. No one explained what looping meant, so a few others and I weren't sure if we were keeping our kid in it or not. Amanda's BF's mom decided against it at the very end of the school year. After weiging the pros and cons, I ended up keeping Amanda in. a week ago, the mom got really worried if she made the right decision. She tried to talk to the principal, but kind of got brushed off from her being too busy from the secretary. She talked to the educational director who said her DD would be fine in the other class (she had requested the teacher) and theat the principal was a little peeved that she wanted to switch last minute. She realized that she wanted her DD in the class for her best interest and pushed it and she got her in. I am not allowed to tell Amanda as her BF wants to surprise her the first day of school! :Pinkbounc

I know I still have a stone in there too.

:scared: I haven't passed any since being pregnant. I don't understand why I only got them then and not when I wasn't pregnant but I'm not going to complain. I NEVER want to have that pain again. :sad2:

Boy I go straight for the drugs! They gave me IV morphine in Montana with the first, but on the ship they gave me IV demoral and that did not do the job so they added an injection in my leg of toradol. Then I felt "real nice" for awhile.

They gave DH morphine in the hospital and it didn't do a thing for his pain. Only the toradol worked. He loved that stuff! I never got pain meds for my stones. :sad2: Since I was pregnant, my doctor refused to give me anything. He let me take regular tylenol but that didn't help one bit. It was absolutely awful. My first pregnancy I passed one stone. During my 2nd pregnancy I passed over a dozen in the course of a few weeks. :headache: I seriously thought I was going to die! I refused to ever get pregnant again after that! :p

My DD is going into 7th grade also. I can't believe how fast time has flown by and I can't believe I have a child old enough to be in the 7th grade!

hey tynk - is it just you and I? I'm trying to type in the dark so as not to wake anyone else.

Wonder why I can't sleep tonight. We have our first big football game tomorrow/today and then half the football team is supposed to come over for a pool party, but they are calling for rain. Guess we'll see. Then on Monday it is first day of school and my first day back from vacation...busy times ahead.

We have to wait until Sept 10.

Angie --- too funny. Here i am awake for the first time in many weeks...up at 2AM. i start to catch up on posts when I read someone talking about making ressies and I'mthinking -- could this be the night/morning for Palos ressies and I just happen not to be able to sleep? So now I'm half tired and starting to stress...but thanks for allowing me to continue to sleep-type.

Here I am having a mental breakdown yet again... I think I have a Disney planning disorder. I have DPD. Can we make this an official turn? You could even put it on my button Karen. I have DPD.
