My first thought was WOW! My second thought ..OUCH but what committment and your friend did it free hand?! and my third thought was - Hey, he dives, that looks like a diving suit.

Yes - I had many of these thoughts too about Todd's tatoo....but didn't anyone want to ask the man what is on the other side?!!! okay- I asked...now I'm blushing...so I'm gonna go vacuum.

Well, the kids made it to school with time to spare this morning. DD insisted that I walk her in and I told her it is only for today to take pictures. She did fine until she put her lunchbox & backpack in her cubby then the tears flooded. OY! Thankfully her Asst. teacher came in & scooped her up. Monday DS will walk her to her classroom. They are right across the hall from each other. DS told me quickly that I didn't have to hold his hand walking down the hall.

SORRY these are so big! I am trying to figure out photobucket since snapfish isn't working the same way now. OY! I resized them to 75% of original & they still show up the same way.

Lisa - I wanted to ask how first day went.

Tonight was my first choir night at church. Usually it is Wed but since I had open house for my son last night I moved it to tonight. You get to do that stuff when you are the director!

Are you saying you are in a position of power? Do we need to make you vice-empress! Do you have people too and have been holding out on us?

Becka - your DHs name is the same as my DBrother! Just another strange coincidence! When I talk about you to my DH I say, "you know the family who is us but one year older."

We are you just one year later!!! DH knows you as my twin.

Beware because one year from now your DS may learn a few new party tricks.

#1) Learns that his little sister will copy anything he does so he gets her to bark like a dog, touch her nose, spit and pick her nose.

#2) He will poop in his pants when he is in bed and then decide to try to hide the evidence but in the process decides that maybe he should just get it wiped on the floor instead.

Becka - Eliza is still sleeping (7:11 AM). It looks like you might be getting that frozen cooler on the cruise!!!! Yum! I am still in shock that she is asleep!!!

See you should always listen to your wiser and older twin (ok maybe just older ). You can buy me my sailaway drink. I think I will take a Miami Vice (half strawberry daq/half pina colada).

Actually I am very relieved for you. I know how draining it is to have them keep getting up night after night.

DSD Just got NorthEast Washington Fair QUEEN tonight. There goes every weekend for the next year.

Okay I'll acknowledge my ignorance I didn't know what this meant and I wanted to say congrats however I felt is that the proper etiquette, what happens during the weekend? So my trusty google engine came to play and I came up with North East Washington Fair . Is this it? Is it similar to our Topsfield Fair? I am not familiar with the process and conceptually get it but I don't recall ever seeing it. Education 101 via the Disboard.

My DS woke up early today. JayJay the Jet plane was on TV and the girl asked something about how will you be when you grow up. My DS told me "I will grow up big like Daddy then I can go up the lighthouse. I won't need your help anymore either Mommy."

He didn't even go to his first day of Preschool yet and he already is planning on not needing me!!!!

Oh the lighthouse thing - Last year (he had just turned 2) we were in the OBX and drove down to the lighthouse (I am having an AM brain freeze and can't remember the name - - it is the black and white striped famous one.) Anyway, my DH went to the top and Jake was too short and too little so we stayed at the bottom. He has been obsessed for over a year about going up that lighthouse! When we go down next week we will drive back to that lighthouse (my DParents never saw it) and hopefully Jake will be tall enough to walk up it!!

So 3A tomorrow is the date. Based on how I've been posting here I won't even need to go to bed this evening. I haven't thought about what I am going to do since the last time I asked questions a couple of weeks ago. I've been following Andy's blog to see pics and ideas and watching the other DD's. I'm still leaning towards the matinee shows of the productions to free up evening activities or those open Palo night. I still haven't decided on which night for Palo because there are so many things we haven't experienced having never done a 7 day. I'm guessing we'll have LAP rotation but who knows

Now that school planning is underway I'm feeling in a bit of a planning quagmire between work, school, life. I've been attempting to get as many school and after school activities scheduled this week. I just realized I didn't sign and return some paper work which I need to go complete now. Feeling a little stressed.

The "Just do it" Nike ad is running in my head but my brain is saying "I just need a break today" Procrastination when you are feeling overwhelmed. Not a good resolution strategy.

Good Luck tomorrow! Now that DD is going into 1st grade I need to try not to cry this time. I am not the crying type and preschool and kindergarten I kept it together enough to get back to our car and lose it. DH gave me this stunned look the first time it happened and then proceeded to laugh rubbing my back as I boohooed ( ) Now he expects it even when I say "I don't get it. I don't feel like I'm going to cry" It's just seeing them line up and walk into the classroom alone. Sigh...

I just wanted to ball when DD got on that bus for the first time yesterday. The only thing that held me back is that I thought she might start crying. DH and I just stood there thinking, we just let our most precious thing on to a bus that we are not on? Are we crazy? The one nice thing is that the bus driver is a friend. Nice lady! I am glad I knew her at least and was not leaving her in the hands of a stranger...
