DSD Just got NorthEast Washington Fair QUEEN tonight. There goes every weekend for the next year.

My DS woke up early today. JayJay the Jet plane was on TV and the girl asked something about how will you be when you grow up. My DS told me "I will grow up big like Daddy then I can go up the lighthouse. I won't need your help anymore either Mommy."

He didn't even go to his first day of Preschool yet and he already is planning on not needing me!!!!

Oh the lighthouse thing - Last year (he had just turned 2) we were in the OBX and drove down to the lighthouse (I am having an AM brain freeze and can't remember the name - - it is the black and white striped famous one.) Anyway, my DH went to the top and Jake was too short and too little so we stayed at the bottom. He has been obsessed for over a year about going up that lighthouse! When we go down next week we will drive back to that lighthouse (my DParents never saw it) and hopefully Jake will be tall enough to walk up it!!

Becka - Eliza is still sleeping (7:11 AM). It looks like you might be getting that frozen cooler on the cruise!!!! Yum! I am still in shock that she is asleep!!!

It is now 7:43 and Eliza is still completely asleep! I just went to check on her and she didn't move!!!! It almost too good to be true!!!

Nope , Bubbeez is a take off of her nick name Bubba , which when me and my other sisters oldest kids couldnt say her real name , which is Brandy "Aunt Brandy " turned to Aunt Bubba and then just to Bubba

ok - another degrees of separation moment here...

when I was learning to talk, I couldn't say 'grandmother'...it came out 'bubba' and of course everyone thought it was so so cute (me being the only grandchild at the time and all), sooooooo, my dear sweet grandmother has been called 'BUBBA' all of my life (in the southern state of Tennessee, no less!)

I must be very conservative because my kids are in bed by 8:30pm usually, except in summer when they stay up until 9 or 9:30pm. I guess I will have the cranky kids - you won't offend if you move your table seating to get away from us - LOL.

Elaine - My kids have always had an 8 pm bedtime until the last year when the 10 yr old started to really complain about it...so we extended it 30 minutes! They are still in bed by 9 except on rare occassions...even in the summer. I worry about them (well, the youngest one really) falling asleep, too, but I have a feeling they will get a second wind with all the excitement.

I just read a long trip report where 6 families were together and they all had a soft cooler from Costco and they said every one of them leaked and they just left them in the shower on the ship when they went home.

I have one of those cooler - just bought it last week and haven't used it yet - anyway, the tag on it says 'guaranteed 100% leak proof liner' - did they take the liner out or something??

I had some things go off on ebay tonight. I did well with them. Everything sold that I had posted. I have more going off tomorrow and then next day. I guess I will be packing and shipping tomorrow!

Ditto! If ever it was a TGIF day it would be now. My first work call of the day - 7:30. Never bodes well when it starts that early.

The artist is a very good friend of mine - the whole pice actually tells a story about me and my life ...its very traditional ..it wasnt about what I wanted , it was about what the story was ...thats how he explained it to me ..lol all of it was done completely freehand ... for the whole back not including the arms it took 9 months straight of going every tuesday for 5 hours

I didn't like them at first but I really like Will now. He sure is funny and good at charming people even though they should realize he's lying.

I'm really happy with who left though. That person annoyed me to no end on the feeds. The show just doesn't show people how obnoxious some of these people really are.

that's the thing with will - he's Always said he does and will lie to you - so why do they get mad later when they find out he lied to them? he already told them he would!! CT cracks me up!!!
