Hi all you "double dippers" - wow! you are a busy group. I know you all having a great time planning - we are not going to cruise until 2008 with all of our kids and DGS. Anyway, I have a question and I know you would know the anser I am asking for my DS, as we have been giving them the scoop before they leave.

My DS and his new wife are taking the 09/02 EAstern this year for their honeymoon They are renting a car and dropping it at the port - does anyone know what they will do with their luggage? Do you pull it around until you can get in your room??? Thanks! and Happy Planning!

Hi Tammie - when you get to the port you check your bags like at an airport. They will eventually show up at their room! They should each take a carry on type bags. They should keep thier meds, cameras, swimsuit if they want to swim the first afternoon, or anything they will need until they can get into their room and get their luggage.

My my you all were busy last night. Love the conga fruit line, maybe we should all bring a different fruit hat and during one of the pub nights we could start our own fruit conga line!

I was so tired yet I managed to watch Grey's and then Titanic (again)...DD was up too and had to watch it with me. She is really fascinated by it and loves to see the footage of the boat on the ocean floor. I have to admit I'm pretty fascinated by it too...I remember as a young girl there was a black and white movie about it that I would watch all the time....can't remember the name though.

Hopefully tonight we can get some down time...I am starving though, need food!

That's neat Karen . . . even though I said I was a bit of an outcast, one thing I really enjoyed was being an altar boy. I really liked participating in the service, and Orthodox Holidays are full of symbolism and ceremony.

Were you brought up in the Greek Orthodox church, or another church?

John - while we lived in Scranton PA it was the Greek Orthodox church. When we moved to Amish country .....we had to go RC.

Tammie, we find it convienient to just wear our swimsuits onto the boat that day.

Sorry, John, I was booking our return flight. Southwest just released flight info through January 9. So now we can return home after the post-cruise rollercoaster ride through (shhh) Universal.

For those looking to fly on Southwest (KAREN!) you can now book both ways. There may be lower rates later if you want to take your chances. You can always book now and then rebook at a lower rate later (extra goes as a Southwest credit to be used within the year).

Yippee - Thanks Marielle!!! I got $79 rates...4 tickets for less than 700...can't imagine it getting any cheaper.

I can just see it now . . . we are going to bust the myth that if you wear flip flops on formal night at the cruise, you will NOT be seated.

For part II, we will have our jeans bedazzled, and see if they can be seen on our behinds on "Google Earth" out in the middle of the ocean!

2. My airline tickets are booked and paid.
3. My rental car is booked and paid.
4. My hotel is booked and paid.

it was so funny though , she was troting around the room and trying to open the door and Dr said you aren't going anywhere without keys - she turns around and marches to my purse and grabs the keys!
