I don't want to start any kind of argument here but, what are all of your thoughts on letting kids charge on there key and/or giving them a budget for things to buy on the ship. (and no, I am not giving my 6 year old charging privileges, she would lose the card within 5 minutes)

I was what 3 hours ago when I started ordering books online and next thing I knew I realized I forgot to wrap the birthday present for the party tomorrow (I've only had it for 2 weeks)! Then I decided to just look at the thread and read page 900 and look what I found - more to read - yikes!

Both kids have taken their bears with them on the first two cruises. Here are a couple pictures of DD at 3 with her friend on formal night and in the room earlier.

The little bear she is holding was a gift to all the kids from a fellow DISer from Canada.

Becka, DS got his in TX when we were visiting DH on a business trip. I took the kids to the mall one day. He was 3 months shy of 3 at the time. DS really enjoyed it. He picked out the blue backpack as his accessory because he was going to PS that year & had a blue backpack too. When we were in VA and saw a store DD was almost 3. We thought that she would like one too. Well, we had to wait in line so long because of a party that she completely lost interest & I just gave the bear to the person to finish up. We didn't get anything for her bear. Now she has decided all of a sudden that she doesn't want her bear to be naked anymore. We looked at the site since there isn't one less than 2 hours from us and their shipping so SO reasonable. Well, we saw the princess costumes & she decided that she wants the Sleeping Beauty one. DS thinks that his bear would like some clothes too & picked out a soccer unifor. I haven't ordered them yet because the deal was that they had to be good for two weeks.

These are just precious! I want to know how many of you are going to give in and let your kids have a new one at WDW?

Hey I can't wait to here about your NYC trip. I haven't been back in 10 years! I am ashamed to even say that since its not that far away. I know DD would love it there - well especially since she seems to be in permanent Annie phase. Of course the fact that it doesn't look like something from years gone by might be odd to her...

This is a work trip for me. And the real reason I am still going and not trying to get out of it is because I have Wicked tickets for Wed night... We took DD to the Lion King in March, but honestly, I think we pushed her over the edge earlier in the day by walking around time square. She had the death grip and I think it was sensory overload.... I bet Annie is great there!
