Hey friends,
Starting Saturday I'll be on vacation (visiting mom and dad in SC) and may not get to check in much. Didn't want anyone to worry!

Have a great time!!

Hi all! I am here. Not MIA anymore. :teeth: We did go to Sesame Place last week and had a ball!! DD3 is really getting into the whole rides thing. Tuesday we went to the WW boardwalk and she wanted to go on every ride over and over again. When the wristband expired for the day she was super bummed that she saw rides that she did not get on! :rotfl2: Anyhow, I have been very busy, but I have been reading here and there so that I wouldn't get to far behind.

Wanted to send lots of pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: Becka's way for no rain on her yardsale!!! :goodvibes

Vanessa, another vote for Rescue Heros here! DS LOVED them by age 3. He got his first couple with the original tower at 2 but the ship was for his RH party at 3. He got so many RHs as gifts. We exchanged the dups & got him the airplane and helecopter...actually he said that he picked out the copter for DD. :) He got into the imaginext stuff at age 5.

DH is working late so that he can get more done on his report. I'm throwing together something for him to eat when he does end up coming home. The kids are really driving me up the wall right now. :( DD is trying to take out every single piece of mess that she has. :(

John - I can relate! I was raised in the Orthodox church half my life and then we went Roman Catholic b/c there were no Orthodox churches where we lived. I raise my kids RC but my bro went back to the Orthodox church. Sat thru 4 of the baptism/communion ceremonies for each of my nieces/nephews/Godchildren.

That's neat Karen . . . even though I said I was a bit of an outcast, one thing I really enjoyed was being an altar boy. I really liked participating in the service, and Orthodox Holidays are full of symbolism and ceremony.

Were you brought up in the Greek Orthodox church, or another church?

Caroline, great to have you back. :dance3: Glad you had a good time. :Pinkbounc :woohoo:

Tonight is Amy's golf night with the girls . . . I do not golf. Last year, Amy got me clubs about a year ago, thinking I could take it up, or we could go golfing together. They have sat in the garage this whole time. One day a couple of weeks ago, the clubs fell over, and Amy did not notice them :smooth: (Can that be a Ray Charles Smiley?). While both sets of clubs were on the ground, she RAN OVER mine. I now am the proud owner of two drivers that have never been used that are headless.

Anyway, picked Sophia up, made us one of my homemade Pizzas, and now I am sitting on the deck with my laptop (weather is really nice out tonight) and letting the dog be a dog in the backyard.

Glad to have you back Caroline . . . funny how we think each other fell off the face of the earth if we don't check in regularly!

Well, my brilliant :dog2: knows how to get the newspaper . . . she just got it off the front porch for me. The problem is, she does NOT give it up, and shreds it! This is one of her many talents, along with stealing the flip/flops off of Sophia's feet while she has them on, and running away with them.

Lisa,

I know you are online . . . are you just lurking and waiting, or are you cooking dinner? pirate:

John1

Well, you all know by now I have no problem going for several posts, so I will just keep going until someone joins me, or I make the "00".

John1

Supper time must be a good pirate: time, just like early Sunday morning. Even the board is running faster!

John1

Now my :dog2: is spilling her water on the deck, and laying in the water. She is a NUT!

John1

:yay: one, and :yay: two, and, :yay: three, and post, post, post . . .

John1

C'mon, this is like taking candy from a baby! . . .

John1

I swear, the 40 second rule, seems to not be in effect . . .

Awwwww - got me that time!
