anyone doing the Stingrays will have a nice time. Just know that they do swim right up against you and some are quite big. Sarah was 11 when we did and took awhile to stop holding on to me. She never did feed them and she got right out and didn't snorkle with them afterwards.

I could not do any type of stingray excursion. I would freak out when they would touch me. I have a mini freak when seaweed touchs me! I am a nut I know! I did like to snorkel but I didn't even feed the fish because I didn't want them to touch me either!

I've been having trouble getting computer time since we have been home. Just got unpacked today and I pick up my mom right after work tomorrow. She will just have to deal with the messy house until Friday when I have a day off.

Stuff in the water, easy peasy! I learned to swim at summer camp, in a lake. While we were doing our laps, there would be huge (8-14 inches) fish swimming right along side of us, lol.

I just checked on my DS and his temp is down to almost 100. I feel much better. I think I will soon head to bed myself. I still have class in the morning. I hope he wakes up and has a normal temp. My DMom will be here and I hope she doesn't have to deal with a sick kid. Although, she is a Grammy - I suppose they can deal with it!

I also swam in a lake as a child and the fish freaked me out then!!! I love the ocean and swim underwater...I just hate stuff that happens to live there!

We have not heard if Jordan will be able to join us. He was going to check with DU on pricing. He had a couple of other possible trips going too, so he was not sure. He would definately add to the fun of the group. It was fun to see him pop up all around the ship last year.

It's different at the CC one, Caroline...that's why I am signing both kids up for this. They have nets up too...much shallower water than at GC.

We have been practicing with the smaller rays at the aquarium. They really seem to like DS. They swim past him, then turn & go right up against his arm.

One our first trip to CC my husband saw a ray while swimming at the adult beach. Several people also came into the water to look at it. I took one glance and went in the opposite direction!
