The Eagles just tied the Patriots, and I would like to see SOMEONE beat the Patriots!

Okay I need to go pack now. First flight Sat morning. YIPPEE. I so need this vacation. I have been just so crazed. You know things are bad when you child offers to give you the hug because "I think you really need it Mom" It did make me feel better and terrible at the same time. Parent guilt.

Anyway I am saying now -> If I can't find it to pack I can always go to super target and instead of starting a load of laundry at midnight now heck I'll just throw the clothes in and do it at the resort. But can someone explain WHY my kid felt the need to go into summer clothes put away items and play with her waist pack and goggles? Of course she does not know what she did with either. Man, I DVC!! Its supposed to be 20s with bad wind chill tomorrow and snow here Sunday. I am ready to get the heck out of dodge.

Hi Everyone

Hope everyone is doing great. Can not believe it has been almost a year since our last cruise. I am still hoping to do the repo cruise in Aug. Autumn is hanging in there but will have surgery again after the holidays. She had a total of 7 surgeries this year and 4 strokes. She is walking and talking again and her strength keeps getting better every day. She has such a strong inner drive. Happy holidays to all of you and may they be the best ever.

It is sad at Autumn has had a tough year, but it sounds like she is on an upswing for the upcoming future. Have a wonderful Christmas.

The kids were putting the ornaments on the tree last night and I opened up the Kelly dolls I picked up for Kaitlyn after Christmas last year thinking that they were ornaments. Well...she picked up one with long blonde hair and a blue dress and said -- This is me! She picked up the one with the long black hair and said -- This is Sophia! She picked up the red head and said -- This is Savahna. There was another blonde doll and she looked at it for a few minutes and said -- This is Bella and I will just pretend that she has dark hair. She played with them for the next hour and told me that they were going on a cruise together.

I wrote a letter to the editor of our paper about how upset people got about a dress code issue, but how they don't care much about our school funding issues. Getting ready to leave for WDW on Thursday!

We are back from WDW. Thankfully we had a very good time. The trip went smoothly, we had good weather and the kids even behaved themselves part of the time.

I have a ton of laundry, etc. to catch back up on. I also have almost 3500+ pictures DH took to sort and edit. I think it will take me a while to get to them all. Unfortunately I am wanting to make some Christmas gifts from them so I will have to get to it.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I know many of you are already in WDW right now or headed there soon. I hope we left some good weather behind for you. I will check in later!!!

Hi all -- back tonight from a roadtrip to DL for the last 5 days. Was nice and relaxing... our only real vacation this year, since the cruise. Wed & Thursday were great at the park - balmy warm and no crowds. Friday, it rained and we went to Legoland, 2 hour drive due to bad traffic, and drove up to find that they closed the park due to weather! It was like Chevy Chase in Vacation - we wanted to punch the moose! Went back to DL, put on ponchos and ballcaps and walked around in the rain -- love it when it's not crowded.

Saturday was the Candlelight Procession and it was stinkin crowded -- I had been spoiled by the midweek crowds. So yesterday and today was not as much fun, but it was still nice to be there. Weird stuff though -- everything kept breaking down. Big Thunder, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, even the Sub Voyage -- we watched as they took a motor raft out to the middle of the lagoon to offload people 2 at a time back to the dock! I joked that someone was walking around the park with an electromagnetic pulse generator or something...

And to top it off, we went to load up the car this morning and found a flat tire! Probably ran over something on the way to our wasted trip to Legoland, ugh. Like I said, EVERYTHING broke down, lol, but we made it home without incident so I will just enjoy the time we had and look forward to our cruise next December....
