Yes, the weather has been just beautiful, and although I have had to work a little, it has still been nice to have three days in a row.

I guess that we are paying for the fact that we moved into this house in 11/95. I am glad that I have cleared out a lot of stuff before now...but not enough. We are staging all of the rubbermade bins and boxes out in the garage. They are stacked up to the bars of the garage door and we are now on the second row of stuff. Linda loaned us 25 of the big bins, I had probably 16 and bought 8 more yesterday for Kaitlyn's clothes so they can be sorted by size. We only have a few left to pack up...and lots more stuff to pack!!!!!
The truck bed is full of boxes from all the lego, imaginext and Thomas sets that the kids have gotten over the years. I even found the box to the baby monitor. LOL! Back then I was in the "resell on Ebay" mindframe so I kept all of the original boxes. We are not moving that now!!!
Also I made a big discovery recently....I found the box with Sophia's bday present in it!!! It was with the sweatshirts & stuff that I got for the kids when we were still going on the Dec 07 cruise. Now I will just put everything in a box marked 12/07 WDW Trip so that I don't lose it.
Well, lunch time and back to the grind. I am working on the kitchen while I am on standby for work this afternoon.
BTW...we have had termites in the yard and there was a board in the garage that had termite damage that had to be repaired when we had the house bonded. It's just a good thing to have coverage for around here. It is nasty when they swarm.
It turns out that the seller was looking through her paperwork this week and couldn't find the receipt for this past year's inspection so she called them. They are going out to update the inspection and we will just have to pay the yearly renewal fee...much less expensive that way.

Tomorrow (9/4) is the first day of fourth grade for Hannah, and the first day back to preschool for Walt. Elizabeth starts high school (9th grade) on Wednesday. So we might be the last of the Geeks to get back to school (around here, people protest going back to school before Labor Day... might interfere with the last weekend "down the shore" ... that's Philly-speak for going to a New Jersey beach!)

Hope that the kids have a great day in school tomorrow.
I just finished packing up the last of the Pfaltzgraph...whew! I forgot how much of that we got for our wedding. I think that we ended up with 13 place settings and lots of the glasses and dishes. I have to stop by the real estate paper box tomorrow and pick up a few issues so that I can wrap up the rest of the glasses and start on the coffee mugs. We can also deal with just a couple of the dishes and bowls...I prefer the paper versions lately. I will also have to go through the gift stuff in the stair closet without the kids around. Kaitlyn's gifts are wrapped up in the garage. She didn't even notice them with all the other boxes out there. LOL! I stuck them on top of some of the bins. I'll be picking up a cake for her in the morning. We'll just be having her dinner tomorrow for the four of us where she wants to eat and the cake and gifts. We wil have a party for her friends after we move into the new house. I always like to wait a few weeks after school starts to give her a chance to get to know the kids a little bit. We will have the girls from her dance class there too. That starts in another week. The studio construction was a bit delayed but she is so excited about starting that.

Our schools start tomorrow also. DGS starts his senior year of HS. Does not seem possible.

DGS has an early Sept birthday also (12) and we waited a few weeks many times when he was in the lower grades. He has had the same friends since JrHigh, so it has not been an issue the last few years. He has shared his BD with his Not a Girlfriend Sam the last 2 years. Her BD is one week after his. They went to Build A Bear last year.
He is still not sure what she has planned for them this year. We are thinking that since it is his 18th that we also need to do something with his extended families. (his father and step father's families)

I am having a bad day at work! I soooo need my vacation in November.
Things here have just been crazy and I am so ready for it all to stop. Work is insane. Nathan going to K is going to kill me. DD is being so stubborn lately and DH seems to be in a perpetual bad mood. Calgon take me away.....PLEASE! 
It is taking every ounce of my willpower right now to keep sitting at my desk and not running to the nearest fast food place/vending machine and stuffing my face with lots of really tasty, fat filled junk. I am such a stress eater and today is NOT a good day for this!!!
I hope everyone else is having a better time lately. Good luck to all those who have first day back at school today. Lisa - I hope the packing is going well. You sound like you have it all organized so that must really help.

The wedding mayhem is over and my BIL and his new bride
are probably walking around the MK somewhere right at this very moment. I am so jealous that it's not ME on that vacation -- I told DH, I'm not sure if it's because they're at WDW and I'm not, or just that they're at WDW without children and worries...the sort of carefree that we had 11 years ago on our honeymoon

She wanted to look like Belle from Beauty & the Beast... I LOOOOVED her dress. It was perfect.
Recognize the big sweaty guy on the end? Ugh - it was nearly 100 degrees out -- the ceremony was at 3 in the afternoon.

What a job Lisa! - I just switched the kids bedrooms over the weekend (Sophia to the bigger bedroom and Alex to the smaller one now that he is not here so much, and only needs a place to sleep) and that was ENOUGH moving for me!
