I know some of you on our PC cruise will see this and realize it is a duplicate post. Sometimes I just like to keep my Geek friends who are not on our PC cruise up on current stuff, and hate to retype. So if you are reading this again, just skip it!

Well, I was at the office yesterday morning until 1:00 in the afternoon . . .

We DID get to go to a NE Ohio DIS cookout afterward though, at Towncrier's house. He invited the whole DIS, and it looked like about a couple dozen showed up!:rotfl:

We then went to another friend's cookout, who live on a nearby lake. We had a very nice time, and Sophia got to ride on a boat tube, she loved it. Then the girl who babysits her sometimes (daughter of our friends) took her to see her horse (she leases a horse) at the horse barn to feed the horse and "muck" the stable. She let Sophia go for a ride, and if she didn't already have it she now has the horse bug BAD. The stable is about a 15 minute walk from our house, and Sophia now wants lessons, and made us promise to call today . . .:sad2:

Of course, she had to have a breathing treatment when we got home because she is also allergic to horses - but she just loves them, and the girl said she can tell Sophia has a natural ability to ride from what she saw.

So Kristina, should I take out a THIRD mortgage on the house?????

Probably...especially if she wants to lease one....

Think lease fee $200-400...Then the boarding fees $400-$500 ish (oh yeah and that's per month:scared1: ) Then if the horse gets sick another couple thousand...

Lessons are just the easy way out... Luckily Devon gets her group lesson once a week for free (well in exchange for working). At our farm lessons just went up to $210 for (6) 1 hour lessons. (lessons are one a week)

There's no way we could afford the gas to get DD to the farm (25 miles each way) and pay for lessons too...

And if she ever mentions a show team.. RUN....:scared1: :scared1:

BTW ...I am allergic to the horses also.. I usually try to stay in the car while picking dd up.

Bobby says hello, and that he misses all of you. He had a nice time at our Memorial Day Cookout.

He sends you all a big HUG!

Kim,

Sophia wants to tell Savannah that Bobby WILL be with us on the Repo cruise (you better tell Steve too - I know he would miss him).

And Lisa, just FYI, he is getting ready for his first trip to the Outer Banks in July too, and is excited that he will be seeing you, Mike, Kaitlyn and William again . . .

Did you guys know Bobby once posed for Andy Warhol?????

Hi Bobby!

I was just working on my scrapbook from the cruise... it's a very slow, obsess-over-details, process...but fun in its own way.

Were Bobby and Sophia looking in the mirror?

I just noticed that . . .

These photos were taken with the built-in camera on my Macbook . . . Why did I get the mirror image?

Hey there everyone. I had just caught up and got a job to type. All day with nothing & they send me one this late. OY!. Only 36 more minutes before I can log out & go to bed. Hope everyone had a great weekend! Thanks for making me laugh. :)

Good morning Geeks!

Just back from the long weekend at Disneyland -- the crowds were not bad at all! Mostly no waits over 15 min (not counting Fantasyland, of course). I will post some pics later. Gave DS our little Canon powershot and he wound up taking over 200 pics -- has a real eye for photography. He took lots of scenery shots and stuff like signs and things that we tend to forget about -- but make up all the atmosphere :) DD got her cast signed by a bunch of characters -- it looks way cool. Upgraded our hoppers to APs that expire 5/26 so anyone that is headed out here on the cruise and wants to do a post-cruise meet, I am there!

Have a great week!

Joy,

We are all worried that post cruise will be terrible! Your report on crowds is encouraging. We plan on being there 5/25/08 (Sunday) and 5/26/08. I think Kim will be there too, as well as Angie and Dennis and PJ - and maybe John and Vanessa - did I miss anyone????

That was so nice of you to do a precruise crowd report trip for the Geeks on the WB Repo, Joy~! ;) Glad that you all had a great time. Hopefully we will be able to meet up with you when we are out there for the EB Repo with Caroline, Todd, and Brack AND Kristina. :)

Saturday was the least crowded, Sunday and Monday were about the same... For comparison purposes, we usually always go to WDW during the 1st or 2nd week of December and I'd say it's about the same, maybe a bit more crowded (esp. since everyone now has discovered off-season December to be "the" time to go).

Anyway, we closed down the park on Sunday night, walking out about 12:30 and that last hour and a half, there was no waiting anywhere. Monday, there were alot of group crowds there -- it was magic music days, plus there was a dance team thing going on, plus graduation groups, but mostly it was very pleasant. I skimmed the Disneyland trip reports from the last couple of years and most everyone reported the same thing on Memorial Day weekend -- that it wasn't that crowded at all. I think maybe people avoid the weekend because they think it will be crowded. Plus Saturday and Sunday are blackout days for all but the premium passes.

I am not sure :( That Saturday is usually blacked out, and we can't go before because the kids will be in school -- they track off on the 16th. As it is, we will have to pay blackout upgrades for Memorial Day weekend next year. But how cool would it be for me to go to **2** DisGeek meets in one summer!

What not with me :sad1:

BTW I saw Andy's twin at Disneyland at the character breakfast. I was in line behind this guy and I'm thinking, gosh he looks familiar...where have I seen him before, and they wound up sitting next to us, and the bell goes off... and then I'm like... wait -- THAT's not Kristina! :rotfl:

We wont be doing DL that Saturday. We will be getting there Monday/Tuesday so will have a couple days there already. We didn't want to wait until the rest of the crowd gets there a day or two before the cruise to hit DL.
