Oh, previews were great as well. I saw more of Ratatouille - looking forward to that, and more flicks in Dec. I got out of the theater around 9:30P and ran over to Barnes and Noble. The only thing that would have made it a perfect evening would have been an Apple Store trip. Ah well.

Okay - I'm exhausted. The heat and I stayed up laast night and watched "Stranger than Fiction".

Oh yeah I also wanted to say what I find strange but perhaps people think I am because I've always done this...but why don't people stay through the credits? I always have. You never know if there are any surprises at the end and in the case of Pirates there is always something at the end - at least that was the case with 1 & 2. So how could people leave? I wanted to say "Hey, Hey...don't you want to see the clip after the credits. There probably is one" It's like people not knowing how to switch off or use fast pass. However unlike in those cases at WDW when I do speak up I said nothing and just sat back in a packed theater that then had maybe 10 people left and we watched the credits.

Just asked DS - NOPE, did not stay through the credits. SUCKER!

Your sig made me :lmao: Carla!

I stay through the credits of every movie... OK, so I only go to 1 or 2 movies a year, but whatever. There's always something good... a cool song, or an extra scene, or bloopers. And I'm usually trying to read the credits, to see who did a certain song, or to see the acknowledgements to a city/state's tourism board because I thought I recognized a location.

Yeah, I'm a geek, but you already knew that.

Yeah, me too . . . Geek all the way, but more and more, I like it that way. Although I think your neighbor over there in Bethleham took Geek maybe a wee bit too far.

:wave2: Marielle, I see your light is on . . .

I need to get to bed, I have to go in to the office for a meeting tomorrow . . .

BTW - Alex has decided to go to the UK from June 27 (arrives the morning of the 28th) through July 10th. He is flying on Continental from Cleveland to London (Gatwick)- paying about $860 round trip, and it is a direct flight. He is going solo as his friend dropped out on him. He found what appears to be a nice Hostel, and will pay about $35 a night US to stay there. He was originally only going to go for a week, but I told him why not stay longer if he is paying for the flight anyway. I know he is going to email our UK friends from our WB Panama Canal Cruise for some suggestions on how to amuse himself for almost two weeks in London. He is trying to figure out how much to budget for food and recreation and souveneirs.

We finally made all the reservations today when his passport arrived in the mail.

He will be there while we are at the beach and visiting Lisa in NC.

sounds like a great adventure!
But he won't be there for the release of the last Harry Potter book on 7/21...

I don't even know if I have enough time for this ...

setting up the sound and Powerpoint for the service this morning .....

Well done, Brack. If I had checked in here before making oatmeal for Walt, I'd have made it a challenge.

Hope everyone is having a good day... lots of routine stuff today. The van is at the garage for the state inspection, and I'm watching my friend's DD, and Walt's in timeout for trying to throw his food in the trash...

AAAWWW. Does Walt need a Grandma to intervene here? Maybe he wasn't hungry. ;)

We got home today. California was fun, as always. PJ, I will get the maps off to you in a couple of days. Big, big thank you to Kim and Steve who let us sleep in the room down the hall from Johnny Depp on Sunday night! Yep, thanks to Kim and Steve we too got to sleep with Johnny Depp! He was gone Monday morning, so sometime between midnight and 7 am he checked out. Kim, it was so awesome to watch Wishes fireworks from the balcony too. We had a wonderful evening, thank you! Disneyland and DCA were fun and it was good to get to see Aaron (and his parents too, of course!) again.
