DV1 - we weren't completely sure about the logo. Just using the words seems to make it clearer now that we have the images on the front. I like the Santa hat on the DCL logo.

I sure hope that he is alive when you guys board the ship. Saturday thru the sailaway I suppose. It will be easy to spot each other in the terminal & on the ship. No wondering if that is the person in the picture on the website.

If you guys haven't figured out.....John thinks he IS a pirate!! Yes - of course he's bringing his Sparrow outfit!!!

I'm looking for a new one for myself and the girls - I have two custom made pirate overalls that don't fit - 12M and 3T if anyone is interested - girls though!

Snorkling at Costa Maya:

"One of the highlights was the day at the Maya Palms with a snorkeling trip. So I googled Costa Maya and snorkeling and came up with the Maya Palms trip. We booked it, it was $45 pp (lunch was $10 extra and so worth it!). They email directions but it is somewhat hard to find the yellow cabs to take you there and people will try to misdirect you. My advice: walk outside the little village at the pier (you know you are outside when you see the golf carts for rent), then look for the guard office with the gate. Walk down that path, you will be able to see the small yellow cabs. It costs $20 to get to the resort. Our driver took the highway instead of the coast road. It is longer and smoother but very deserted and we got concerned that we were going nowhere plus it was way more than the 9.5 km that our email had told us about. When we arrived, it looked like a small office so we asked to see it before letting our driver leave. No need to worry, it was lovely! Only 4 families had managed to find this trip and we all had a good time exchanging stories. The pool was fresh not salt water and very nice, the swing hammocks fun, the snorkel equipment excellent. It was a very personalized type of trip, we just went out a ways and jumped in. The water was beautiful, refreshing, reefs close by. Back for lunch with just delicious, authentic food. My husband led a toast to the internet for bringing us all together! The owners were very friendly."

Let's see...Vanessa is on the far left holding her youngest DD (other one was in the club I believe), I am to her right in the black with DD in striped skirt & DS in Hook costume in front of me & DH in black top behind me, Vanessa's DH is steering the ship (or thinks he is ), DrHugs is to his right with MrsMork in front of him, Jordan is to the right of DrHugs, John is to his right, his DD is in pink in front row far right, and we can't leave out Cristi of the pier to the right of Angie with her DH next to her, & her DD & DS in front of Angie.

GOODNESS! I thought THAT group was big!

Gee, I spend the day cutting out pictures and pieces for Vacation Bible School crafts and I miss pages and pages of information!!!

Don't get too far ahead of me; I may have to curtail my web surfing to teach VBS this week.

Oh, and if the new signature is working, it's because DD13 thought my old one was too boring and I needed some bouncing characters. Of course, this is the same kid who rolled her eyes at the lime green shirt...

Okay, so my husband and I are looking into renewing our vows and are horrified at the $1000 price. All we want is something simple that would involve our two kids (DD, 11 and DS, 8). We recently found out that the priest who married us is no longer with the church among other things, so doing this would be meaningful for both of us. Is it possible for a fellow passenger being a judge, captain or clergyperson do the ceremony? If so, is there anybody interested?

I'm a notary public, but I don't think that counts. I know there are several attorneys here who may have been judges....

John, I knew there was an attorney in this group..... I like the school board pres. too. If you put it all together on the form, it would look really official. plus, it is kind of impressive. You are probably the perfect person to be a school board president.
