WOW! We just got back from the races...it is 6 pm. The kids were there for 7 hours!!! DD helped pick up the food for the volunteers & then went around with me and one of the girls in DH's group passing it out. DS helped at the main intersection when the racers came thru. We will be going out to a cookout for the group in a bit. TTYL!

I have really wanted to do the Ruins sence I was little, But I think I will end up sticking with the beaches and shopping, and Just relaxing. It seems that just walking around the tulum sight isn't want I want, and the D&I tour would be but I have been looking forward to going through the fence and hanging at chichi all day and shopping in the village. NO tour but an extra $200 for shopping. Just can't decide. Thr Rebal says go throught he fence, the fence, take the fence, just DO IT already. Guesse I'll have to take the fence. Mum

Angie - I took one year maternity leave so I am not working. That makes it much easier to go to class. In Pennsylvania we have to take classes or we will lose our teaching certificate. We need 24 credits in the first 6 or 7 (I can't remember) years we teach. Then we need 6 credits every 5 years for the remainder of our career.

Brandi, I think teachers here have to have some continuing ed also. DH does to keep his pharmacy liscense - 15 ceu per year. But those can be picked up at seminars or taking an online short course. Completing your masters is way more than that! Good for you.

We didn't get home until 10:15! Goodness those kids are wiped out! They had a ball today! Tomorrow will be spent recooping from spending so long in the sun.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!!!


We just did church, made breakfast and now I'm getting ready to paint inside the pool house (this pool chores never end!). Its already hot at 10AM. WOW!

And the great news is - we're meeting Kristina and her family for a mini dis meet later today.

I read some people are gonna be at Hershey Park this weekend...too bad we couldn't have figured out a central place for more of us to meet. That's only about 20 minutes from my house and 30 minutes to the Brewsters in Dillsburg where we are meeting later today.

NEXT TIME!!!! Seriously - if anyone will be in/around central PA - Hershey/HArisburg/etc.....let me know. We will set something up!!!

It's a beautiful day here. Not sure what we will be doing before DH goes back to MD. The kids are enjoying DH's daddy's day gift right now. Let me see if I can get this right...a DVD player/recorder with VHS.

I think our day is going to be quite.

We had 10 yo DGD yesterday and last night. We took her and DGS (16) to see CARS. It was a fun movie. We all liked it alot. I can see that we are going to be adding a couple of cars to our collection of Disney toys that we have in our cars now.

Hi! May name is Tavia a.k.a. Castlepixie and my family & I will be joining you on the 12/9 Double Dip! We booked in January & our 2 DDs have no idea! We are also bringing two more families with us. We will be letting the surprise out to the kids this Friday night at a BBQ. I have been lurking a long time on this thread so I thought it was time to introduce myself.

I have a relative who did the DD on 5/27. He said it was one of the best DCL cruises he ever took. That makes me really excited! Glad to finally be a part of this thread!!

I have been researching things to do in Costa Maya and Cozumel. We were in Coz. before and did the Jeep Excursion through Disney. Now we have the 2 kids and that isn't going to happen.

I don't see us crawling through the fence, but we are looking at Pez Quadro Beach in Costa Maya. I know we will be shopping and walking around but we aren't going to plan anything in advance.
