Lisa, I hope all is well and it was just a scare!! A year and a half ago DH had chest and back pain and waited 2 DAYS before deciding to finally go to the ER! He was convinced it was a pulled muscle. Turns out they rushed him to Philadelphia for possible emergency surgery for a heart aneurism! We were very lucky the ER doctor took a second look at the scan and saw "something" he didn't quite like. Luckily when he got to Philly they found it wasn't something they had to do asap, but he did get open heart surgery four days later. He had the aneurism and a heart defect where he had to get a valve replaced. The worst sight was when he came out of surgery and was wrapped like a mummy to warm up with all the tubes running out of his body! But we were lucky. My best friends husband passed away this past October from an aortic aneurism. He knew he had it, but they won't do surgery unless it is a certain size and his wasn't big enough.

I don't mean to scare you, but I am glad you are getting it checked out! It pays to go to the doctor when you aren't feeling quite right!

Well, I am off for yet another fun-filled busy day!! Have to go to DDs school for a special thing the whole school is doing on National Parks, go to the Chiropractor, get pizza for DDs class and take it to the school, then dress rehearsal for dance (first and have to get all the costumes, etc, ready again!). Recital is tomarrow and Saturday!

Oh Lisa,

I hope you feel better and it's nothing serious......

Will the doctors be doing an ultrasound to rule out gallbladder issues? I had to have mine out last year but the serious pain came on all of a sudden and sometimes mimics heart related pains because the pain radiates though your chest (and gets worse when you breathe in.)

John, If your still around....How long are you staying? We're coming down next wednesday night through the holiday at the BWV.

OK, an aneurism was another possibility when we talked yesterday. I am leaning more towards having the cardio cscan done next week.

Yes, they also have an ultrasound scheduled with the cardio cscan next week. My mother had a gallbladder attck & we thought that she was having a heart attack. It wasn't until the EMTs did some quick bloodwork that they found out that it was teh gallbladder.

Well, I have caught up a bit on the boards & now am going to have more fun with DD's room! :) I found some little rhinestones that you just peel & stick. I am going to put them on the stamped crowns that are around the middle of her room. :)

Lisa, the best thing to do is get any test they want to perform. Tests aren't fun, but it is best to know what may be going on. Hopefully all is well and it was just a random muscle pain! :goodvibes

Uh - Lisa?!!!

REST - I think the doctor mentioned that word, not RHINESTONES. I know they both begin with R, but you better be taking care of yourself!!!

Come on!!! I sat down on DD's bed & peeled off the back of the stone & stuck it on the wall. I took my time & only did a few to play. I haven't had to take the medicine that they gave me because my arm doesn't hurt. I know that it will make me sleepy so I am going to wait until DH gets home & then take it with dinner. I will get another good night's sleep & feel even better tomorrow. :) I just put lunch in the microwave to heat up & will sit down & watch some TV. I will sit down & fold some clothes and then set the alarm in case I fall asleep so that the kids wont have to camp out at school. ;) Today is going to be a light homework day for them so we will probably just sit outside & get some fresh air.

Lisa, I am glad that you are having a restful day. Please keep it up and don't let yourself get fooled into doing too much.

To all our WDW travellers
It was WDW right? I'll try to keep the weather fine in Atlanta for you. :sunny:
Have a safe trip.

Okay - we won't worry about you, then....at least not since you're gonna sit down while folding that laundry.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: You're too much - I bet you go 24/7 non-stop, don't you?!!!

I'll buy some of your energy!! Yesterday I was so tired I felt sick to my stomach so I went home, told the kids I was taking a nap and told them to wake me up by 4:30 so we could eat and head to their BB game.

This AM, my son said he wished it was Saturday so we could sleep in.

I can't wait for this weekend to truly do nothing but read a book. I haven't done that in so long.

Here you are with DR. orders to take it easy and you're decorating and doing laundry. I think you are my idol!

Brack - I hope you are prepared for your weekend with 400 women.

A guy can never be fully prepared for this kind of event. I do have many years experience though. It is the expansive "froo-froo" decorations that really get to us guys. :thumbsup2

Lisa: listen to the doc's that what they get paid for. Take it easy and make sure you stay well. We'll be praying for you this weekend.

I don't think so. Usually I am the one needing to take a nap in the afternoon or having a hard time getting motivated. Tuesday morning I actually felt awake & ready to anything for the first time in a very long time. Who knows, maybe that is related to this. :confused3 Did you ask if DH was home? Yes, he has been back since a week after Easter. He is leaving after Memorial Day though. :( I know who contributes to the laundry pile the most here now. ;) I hadn't put stuff in the upstairs hamper while he was gone & just did 2 loads a week. Now I go upstairs & pull the curtain to find an overflowing hamper. OY! That's ok though...I would rather have him home. I guess that I am enjoying decorating so much because I have wanted to start on this for over two months but couldn't because of PTO/school commitments or needs.

Just back from lunch here at camp. The decorations are almost complete and it is just one more day before the crowd arrives. It will be nice. The dinner tomorrow night has black cloth table cloths with white napkins.

Oh BTW .... I'm playing Michael Buble for the ladies decorating and they are all giggly. They are so funny. :thumbsup2 :rolleyes1
