Hi guys....

Our family had a close call last night.....

My Dbil is in Afghanistan. i never knew which base (security reasons).

But when i heard the news reports this morning of the attacks i had to call DSis to check....

Turns out he is on the base that was attacked. His unit is all ok but they're well shaken of course..... (one of the wives got an e-mail before the base was locked down) It's just really scary.

His name is Andy (just like my dh). Any prayers you could give for him and his unit would be appreciated right now....

BTW cool motorhome D&A.... You gotta swing by DC too.... Gettysburg has some nice campgrounds and i know of one with nice hookups closer in called Little Bennett State Park. (DD camped there with the scouts a few times)

and nice painting Caroline....(love your floors too) Is the back area your closets or another bath?

For sure! We love DC and only had an afternoon at Gettysburg so that is on our do over list too!

I hate to wonder where our thread was down to. Not much activity today.

Well, I should get to bed soon. We went to a HS Basketball tournament game tonight. First round, our team won 81-26 - a real shellacking. We have one of the best players in the state on our High School (where I am on the Board) team. Seven foot, two inch Greek Boy! He is committed to Ohio State for next year!

Not sure how valid that is. I think that it is just what they were able to schedule. After all...if we will be going against the winds...wouldn't we need more time to do that? On the 2005 repo the WB got the extra stop. I think that part of it is just to switch things up this time.

Snow flurries here today off and on. Late in the season for us to get snow at the lower elevations. Nothing stuck though, so it's all good.

Could not convince myself to pull the trigger Carla . . . It boiled down to what I want, vs. what I NEED. In an unusual twist, what I need won out.

So my name won't be on that wall of fame. We'll see what other incentives are offered later though!

I'm home early today. We pick up the motorhome and we need to go buy stuff for it! We need sheets. It has a queen bed and we have always just had a double....yep a double is a cozy fit for the two us Pooh sized folks! Also need an egg cooker. I have an extra set of Pampered Chef pans in the garage that I have been saving for just such a special occasion. We need rugs also to protect the carpet. Shoes off requirement in this, I think. I'm excited! Can you tell? DrHug is in the shower then we go!
