Our school district has tentative 07-08 dates up and Devon would miss high school assessments. (not sure if she should)

It may be just the DH and i.

OMG my tummy can't take all of this!!!!

I just called the BofE and spoke with the testing coordinator for the county. I told her the reason for my concern. She said that the EOGs are given the week before Memorial Day. There is a 10 day make up window. If we got back the 28th he could take them the 1st week of June. She told me that it sounds like a fantastic opportunity and she would book the cruise.

We are out but I never thought it was a possibilty for us in the first place. We orignally had planned on trying to book the 11/29/08 but it looks like from some of the port information that will be a Western and we really want an Eastern if we do a 7 night cruise again.

We are hoping to do WDW this upcoming November and then maybe we will do a few days at WDW with a 4 night cruise late in '08 or just wait to see if anything great is announced for the summer of '09.

Well, Because of the testing in VA and how close it is to the end of the school year we probably will not. However, our TA is just waiting for the dates and she's going to book us on the return Repo in Aug. CHris wants to do the return one anyway so everything works out...hopefully

However, we are both in our 40's and it will be 26 years in the Navy when I leave next year.

I read your post from the horrid UTI and I felt horrible. I feel even worse because if I had known, I always carry a full bottle of CIPRO and the pills that make you have orange you know what and i could have given them to you any time!!! I am so sorry!!!!

My biggest obstical would be getting to CA for me. I would love to drive cross country with the kids! Would have to rent a car though. Hmmmm, and how to get back from FL. Train I guess, but the Auto train is so much better than the regular train. I could take the train cross country.

Why couldn't it be THIS year?!?! My best friend is still out there and will be coming back in June. I could have taken the ship to CA, sent Sarah and Amanda back by plane (with DH if he went), then drove one of their cars back with them and Dina.

I think I must have missed this way early on, but do you have a fear of flying? We have a good good friend who is and has to get totally smashed and take sedatives before he gets on a plane. He is a total waste for a day and a half. I feel horrible for him!

I can't wait for the announcement. and to see the prices. We plan on going to DL for a day or so, I haven't been since I was 16. Is air usually cheaper in May or Aug or does it make a difference?

Just a tip for all of you... There are 3 or 4 airports that are closer to DL than MCO is to WDW. John Wayne in Orange County is the closest. Also try splitting a flight and coming in the SLC then going to one of the airports.

I left Jake when he was 15 months old and I managed to survive. I need to do it again. I feel mentally unstable. I feel like I am hanging on by a thread. It is taking all of my power not to start crying every 5 min. I am literally sick to my stomach. I keep telling myself that this is the way it has to be. I know my kids will still love me...but this is killing me. How am I ever going to leave them tomorrow?

Brandi, I do not envy you one little bit. My heart bleeds for you! Truly! This is one of those mommy empathy moments. All I can say is, Ice Cream cures a lot.

Good, because we were going to call the school today to make sure Savannah did not play outside for a long time, Steve said I was overreacting. His hometown was -23 yesterday. I said it is -8 degrees, it hurts to breath, do you think maybe they could play in the gym?

Ok this is serious, who needs a free kid minder for that WB PC cruise. I think that would be the most fun! I am neat, tidy, and will spend water time with the child(ren), I go to shows and love sitting at the pool, I have a CPR certificate, and was once a lifeguad (hmm...what else). And you do not need to pay me.

Here is my problem. I want to do them all. I want to do the 12/08/07, I want to do the May Repo, I want to do the mexican rivera and I want to go at Thanksgiving in 08. In fact I want to go for Thanksgiving in 08.

The Panama Canal is on my list of thing to do before I die and I really really want to see it. DH says ok to May repo, but at a cat 4 instead of a cat 3, which, judging from the previous cruises, would be about the same cost for us.

So, I want to do everything and I am game for anything!
