Kaitlyn was just as grumpy this morning...didn't get up until 7:30. UGH! I made her go to bed at 8:30 even though she was swinging at me as I was carrying her upstairs.

I have actually seen an ethnographic study done on this. It takes the average consumer 20 minutes to open on of the "hard shrink wrapped boxes" you know, the ones that look like if you could just rip them apart it would be easy?

After watching all of the Travel Channel Disney shows again over the holidays I think that I would like for us to go to Epcot before the cruise next year. The Santas around the world looked very nice and so did the candlelight procession. We have seen illuminations many times from outside the park so it would be nice to see it up close. PJ, do they do the holiday show every night in December?

Yes. Holiday Illuminations is every night from the start of the Holiday's Around the World program at Epcot.

Hey something more to be excited about next week. Disney is unveiling their new website. Cool beans! Between that and MacWorld I'm in heaven.

Makes you wonder whether they'll finally be able to do more online as far as the DVC website. Interesting stuff.

oh - the kids are excited about checking for mail from Devon. they are so confused about why they aren't six yet even though they had a party already.

UGH. Just got an email notification that Toys R Us is cancelling the "free" item of my buy one get one free leapster games... (they say it's not in stock now, but it's not just delayed until in stock)... but they did not cancel the regular price item. Umm; I don't think so. So I called and got the full price one cancelled too, but she's not sure if it shipped already.

I think they are famous for this. It happened to me with some Thomas stuff and I pretty much stopped buying from them after this. They advertised something at a bargain rate that they had no stock on and knew was being discontinued and even gave me a rain check for it. so BOGUS!! it's really deceitful advertising.

Marielle - our Target is like yours - since we only have one 1/2 hour away - the next closest is an hour away. Stuff clears out at 30% off and we do not get the sales that Lisa's Target seems to get. for instance no clearance on scrapbooking stuff, holiday dresses etc.

our clearance toys are ALL gone and they had some GOOD buys. I think I have stopped stocking up on stuff though and would rather just give a gift card and let them find their own bargains. I think that is what happens after you do a major clearing out - lol.

I want you and Andy to know how GREAT Devon was with the little kids. She was absolutely wonderful with all the other kids, and to me, how a kid relates especially to those younger children tells me that they are a good kid.

We really appreciated her, and just wanted you to know that because I don't think I got the chance to say it to you personally.

I Absolutely agree - Jaea just loves her to death. She has a unique ability to transition well from much younger kids to her own peer group. Not many kids her age can do that or even want to do that. It's really great for a little girl to have an older girl to model. She really is fun and open to new things and I thought she was handling the demands of cruising with the old folks pretty well.

Maybe We'll have to plan a trip over that way and get pics.

(I'll be at Johns Hopkins Bayview on Feb 8th through maybe 11th; trying to get a private room so DH can stay with me. Maybe he can swing over to see you guys while i'm there)
