OMG... so glad we decided not to do the Riviera cruise... It's almost $9k for a cat 5.....
We are going for the 12/6 Eastern, I think....
Love ya Becka!
The phone lines are jammed, I think... I got a busy signal... but online the ressie is $5300 for a cat 5 and we were quoted $4700 onboard for a Jan08 dummy date... not too much more. Trying to decide if we'll go down to the cat 6 but I can't hope that we'd be upgraded a 3rd time so I really should book the room that I want.
I really can't believe the Mexico cruises are so expensive... I think that's why we didn't even consider them last time. I mean, for the $3000 difference, I could actually take the whole family on a Royal Caribbean for 7 nights on the same itinerary (and still go on the Dec sailing!).
We are Disney nuts.... I know you'd all understand.
Well I hope the next cruise goes better for you Becka... I'm sorry you had a less than stellar time last month.
I booked the 5 night Bahama Double Dip today.I was shocked at how cheap it was... $3300 for the 4 of us in a category 6. That includes ground transfers but not insurance (will get that on my own). Got a real nice room location but unfortunately there was only late dining available. I hated late dining, it was TOO late, so hopefully I can get on a wait list and be moved.
That looks like a really fun cruise. I would love to have booked it because it would fall over my birthday but that will be only the 2nd week of school for DS in 1st grade and that just sounds like a bad time to be gone for a week. Plus it is a difficult time for DH to get off of work. I am sure you guys will have a great time!![]()
Me too!![]()
Actually DH and I have talked and we figure it can't get much worse.I think having DD older will work much better for us. The fact that she could then go to the club with DS (No Flounders!
), play in the Mickey pool, etc.. will eliminate a lot of issues. Nathan really didn't give us too many issues on this cruise and he had a great time so hopefully when Allie is older she will be the same way. If we get closer to the date and we realize that DD is just not going to do well then we will cancel at that time.
But at least this way we are booked and locked in at a lower price and can make the final decision in about 1 1/2 years.

I think with Allie being able to go to the clubs and the fact that she'll be past the "terrible two's" you'll definately enjoy this one more!![]()
I'm so glad to see you weren't completely scared off from cruising.![]()
