And, sorry about those Trojans not being there to play you guys. It's been awhile. BUT, the Rose Bowl pays more. LOL. I believe it's still the number 1 Bowl Game pay wise. It'll always be number one in my heart anyway. It's the Grandaddy of them all.

Same for us! Nothing matches the Rose Bowl - but playing USC - that's always a tough one - it's the fight song that drives us crazy!! Last match I remember was the "lightning bowl" here in Columbus - when the game was called.

Have you guys seen PJ yet?

I am back. We saw PJ yesterday. We had dinner at BOMA, Animal Kingdom Lodge, with PJ, Lisa, Mike, and the kids. We rode the bus to Downtown Disney with her, where we went separate, but equal, ways.

We will be having breakfast with her on Saturday Morning, since she is also staying here at VWL.


This water really sucks. Of course, I am used to Oregon water, and we have well water from a 270 ft deep Aquafer, but, there is no excuse for this stuff. I have had water from the taps at the other resorts, and that was very palatable.
Here the showers even smell bad. I may take a sample home to have it analyzed at our water lab. It can't be safe to drink. lol.

Now I know where they pump the pool water, and the water from the geyser. Maybe even the wash water. ROTFLOL! This water would kill a foot fungus!

We've stopped in Smithfield, NC for the night. The plan is to get up early and hit the road. I hope to get into Orlando by 4pm.

Our TA just called to tell us that we got bumped up to a Cat 6 verandah from a Cat 9. As well as the family were travelling with. Sweet!

Work isn't over yet - I at least made it to the pharmacy. One more load of clothes and I'm done there. I need to get DD in bed asap. I am SO tired and SO stressed. Will I finish work in time - maybe I should start packing now because I do not want to bring mt laptop tomorrow especially since its my work one - it would be useless on the cruise anyway.

Carla, I will conceed to you as procrastinating the most with packing. I technically am still not done as I have more to buy, including another suitcase... I did pick one up tomorrow, but I still need something to carry my gifts!

No new people can join our group but he or she can look at booking trhough Disney.

Carla, I still feel like a traitor or something leaving you on deck 4. With all of these upgrades, it doesn't look like there will be anything left to upgrade to at the port.

A few weeks ago, I posted that we might have to cancel because I work for the state legislature and they announced a lame duck session and announced no Christmas vacations. They are still in lame duck session. My office worked through last week-end, will work through this week-end, and for at least two more weeks.

Well, I waited to the last minute, hoping things would change, but still no vacations are allowed. Bottom line - we have had to cancel the cruise. In the total scheme of things - there are far worse reasons for cancelling. And it always is a possibility with my job.

We were in Cabin 6598 - Todd - that would be quite a line up of DISGeeks on that strip. I note that a Diser just got 6596. Hope someone gets our cabin as an upgrade.

Also - we had two seats on the Costa Maya ruins tour - maybe someone will get to go on that.

We booked in May 2005. It has been great fun joining in on Friday night chat now and again, discussing the finer points of banana culture, bedazzled jeans, chicken pot pie, . . . it has been a fun year and a half . . . you will have such a fantastic trip! What I will really miss - I just wanted to discuss the upcoming BCS bowl with Lillygator! (Go Bucks!)
