A few weeks ago, I posted that we might have to cancel because I work for the state legislature and they announced a lame duck session and announced no Christmas vacations. They are still in lame duck session. My office worked through last week-end, will work through this week-end, and for at least two more weeks.

Well, I waited to the last minute, hoping things would change, but still no vacations are allowed. Bottom line - we have had to cancel the cruise. In the total scheme of things - there are far worse reasons for cancelling. And it always is a possibility with my job.

We were in Cabin 6598 - Todd - that would be quite a line up of DISGeeks on that strip. I note that a Diser just got 6596. Hope someone gets our cabin as an upgrade.

Also - we had two seats on the Costa Maya ruins tour - maybe someone will get to go on that.

We booked in May 2005. It has been great fun joining in on Friday night chat now and again, discussing the finer points of banana culture, bedazzled jeans, chicken pot pie, . . . it has been a fun year and a half . . . you will have such a fantastic trip! What I will really miss - I just wanted to discuss the upcoming BCS bowl with Lillygator! (Go Bucks!)

We ended up canceling - waited until the last day possible without total loss.

I am glad that the balcony went to a DISGeek - but to a GATOR?

Oh well, a little joy before the crushing upcoming defeat in Arizona.

Wow! The shuttle is going up tonight? I didn't know hat. The MK fireworks are blasting away now, so don't know if we could see it anyway. We are at Wilderness Lodge 'the Villas' right now. This is one of our home properties with DVC. I don't like it. This is the first time we have stayed here in our home place. If I had known about it sooner I wouldn't have bought here. The water literally stinks from the tap. I guess that means that you have to buy your water at the exhorbitant prices. I am not usually a complainer either. It has a hydrogen Sulfide taste and smell. It smells like their geyser! Urp!

Oh, I am sorry. The ship must have a sewing machine somewhere. Whether you can use it or not I am not sure. They have a lot of costumes to keep up for the shows.

No upgrade for us. This will be our 8th Disney Cruise and still never an upgrade. Boo Hoo!

Who all is still home and posting? Anyone here at the World and posting?

ONLY 36 hours until we are close to boarding.

I hope the cruise is as good as ever. I am losing the magic after staying here. Ptooey!

Gosh. Sorry you had to cancel Suzanne. And, sorry about those Trojans not being there to play you guys. It's been awhile. BUT, the Rose Bowl pays more. LOL. I believe it's still the number 1 Bowl Game pay wise. It'll always be number one in my heart anyway. It's the Grandaddy of them all.
