My DH this weekend decided he wants to bring a set of construction plans with him so he can work on EXCEL on the cruise.


There are not appropriate words (nice ones) to express what I feel about this decision.

Okay, now I'm too excited to eat. I've got that nervous tummy. I've just read yesterday and today's posts. Haven't gotten much work done. In my excitement over our upgrade last week, I forgot to mention that the very same day, DH sent off a deposit for the purchase of a DVC resale. I've created a monster. I emailed the attendance secretary at DS's school (wife of fellow firefighter) to let her know about DS's absence. She just happens to have been the person who told us about the DIS! I blame my addiction on her.

Is your DD feeling better? The drugs really helped me fast.....started feeling much better within a day of taking them.

yes, the virus thing has really got me freaked out - I mean really freaked out!!!

better go now - my 2 hr lunch break is over and I'm caught up for now. Off to finished packing the misc. category....all clothes packed/zipped except DH daywear/after dinnerwear and the cruise t's that I need to make.

Hmmmmm.....this will show my lack of construction knowledge.....but I believe the correct answer is takeoff. He wants to bring the big set of rolled up white plans, his special rulers, etc. so he can plug ##'s into his EXCEL program.

She still has a bit of a cough but her sinus' are better. The zinthamax(sp?) really helped. I hope the cough is better before we leave on Friday.

Sorry you've been sick. I think Allie sneezed on the keyboard again. Lots of Dis Geeks seem to have gone down in the last week or so.

Can't blame this one on Allie - she has been the healthy one lately. I had strep but I am not sure that has spread beyond me and Nathan. I think someone else must be responsible for this latest round.

Karen - I am sorry you have been so sick. I thought about you this weekend but I figured you were probably just so busy packing that you didn't have time to log on. Get better real soon!

How does it like the FL heat? (Especially with that thick coat)

She stays inside so it doesn't get too bad. She is the reason we moved here in September... so her winter coat wouldn't have a chance to develop.

We've had a time with her since we moved here... she's 6, and had a tumor removed a week after we moved here, and then her back knees (both at the same time) went out on her while she was being boarded at the vet when we went to Hilton head's DVC. She was just operated on two weeks ago on one knee and the other will be in January. $8000 we hadn't planned on spending....

but she's our only baby now
