That is a lot of shoes for one person! I actually am only bringing 3 pairs of shoes: sneakers, black dressy shoes and sandals.

Only 3!!!! MY DH has more than that packed! He has sneakers, sandals, black dressy, and brown dessy.

I have silver, red, black, sandals, 3 pairs of flip flops, sneakers, and crocs. I am debating a second pair of black dress shoes.

i'm having trouble getting the kids to understand that it is late and way past bedtime and if they want to be able to have a friend over again, it would be in their best interest to turn out the lights and go to bed NOW.

plus...i keep thinking i'll catch up and then go, but i cannot catch up!! everyone is so happy to see everyone that i have more and more pages to read!

I just remembered one more thing that has to be done. I have the pillow case and the iron on. now I just need to finish them. is it okay to leave an extra pillow case at the front desk? my Dneice is very much in love with Tink & I got her a pillow case that I wanted to get signed. She does not have a very good family life, we took her to disney this past april and she loved it. she started acting out while we were there and she & I blew up at each other. she is 14 years old. after we got home, she told me she was acting up because she did not want to come home. she said she has never had a vaction like what we shared with her and she just didn't want to have to leave. she did a beautiful scrapbook for me and put a letter in the back that apologized and asked if there was any way she could go with us again.

I wish I could stay up and chat but I must get to bed. I am weened off of the prednisone. Today was my last pill (this morning) and now I finally feel tired...not wired. I need a good night sleep....tomorrow is the big cantata day.

It really worries me because Grandpa & I have always been very close up until 5 years ago when grandma died. he just isn't the same person. he got angry at DS because he couldn't remember who he was. DS was only 5 at the time and grandpa really scared him. I explained to DS that great grandpa was not mad at him but our relationship has not been the same since then. we went for his 94 birthday and I talked with him for quite some time. he kept asking me if I was his granddaughter or if my husband was his grandson. I cried for a long time after that. we hadn't seen him for about a year. I didn't realize how far he had slipped.

to all who having aging parents or grandparents that are fragile. it is very hard to see the one you love go through so much.

dave's dad has actually already started have some memory loss and is taking rx meds - his mom had alzhiemers and was in nursing home for many years before she died - i never met her because she was already very far gone when i met dave.
