That's ok.... Last night we were all at the MK for dinner. My mom wanted to keep DD out and dh and i had to go back to pack. (Seriously rethinking that 8:00 am flight)

DD said she was at the POC marketplace and ran into Brack and Annette. He took her pict buying something.

Can you say...."Uh GM these are some of my mom's disgeek friends we spent the week with...SMILE.. "

I (not unlike John) carefully planned lots of time near the adult pool. (it seemed pretty deserted there all week) Carla's DH had the same idea too...

I got my two workouts in at the SPA though as promised.... Spinning on Monday... Treadmill and weights on thursday. DH and i also rode bikes on the island on Friday. Love those one speed bikes...

Our pillow cases came out great. I am saving DH's for his birthday. He did ask why Jiminy wasn't on the cruise (that is his favorite character).

We just got back from the Dr. and DD has PinkEye. The symptoms started on Sunday so she probably picked it up on Thursday.

Did anyone else have anything signed (pillowcases, mats, etc)? I turned pillowcases in on the first day and had a bag filled with colorful sharpies. The lady at GS said they didn't need the sharpies, they had their own and gave me back the bag.

We got our pillowcases on friday night and all the signatures are in black sharpie. I really wanted them to be colorful. I'm a bit disappointed about this.

Ours had a few colors on it. I will check tonight to see how many. They would not take my sharpies either.

Sea legs are gone but poor DD got sick last night - once and went back to sleep. I kept her home from school to be on the safe side and at 2:00 pm she complained that she had no energy (she is never never lethargic when she is sick), had a headache and her stomach hurt.

Oh no strep signals. She has a temp of 101.7 - took her in for the test. Rapid test is negative. They said they had 11 kids in today with similar symptoms - some viral and some strep. So now to watch her and see how she is doing tomorrow and if no improvement - step test again. In the meanwhile they should be sending out the culture. She is now asleep in her bed.

Disney on Ice email waiting for me when I got home. As much as I would love to take her (I used to go all of hte time at the Garden with my Dad), we are going to that HS Musical Concert the next day so I think too much money has dropped out - heck burned a whole through - my pockets!

Bobby is now safe in Maryland... Still packed in our bag but safe...

DH and i would like to find out if anyone would like to participate in a travelling Bobby photomontage/journal... Keeping him for maybe a week at a time and taking photos and stuff. (he's happy to go anywhere) and then mailing off to the next family.

It would be a great way to stay in touch with you guys (in case they make us eventually shut down this thread.)

Kinda like sister/brotherhood of the travelling banana....

DD has a bit of a runny nose but no cough. It must have been those extra hours she spent in Flounders....

OH - CHOIR AND ANGELS SINGING_ DH IS HOMEI'm tired. We have moved into the dramatic whiney stage and that is NOT my thing. I can't stand it anymore. I can rub backs and all that but that "I want Daddy" shrill is like nails on a chalkboard.

I did tell her I was communicating with the parents of the cruise kids and that did perk her right up! I actually need to go and pick up my cat from her life of a queen. No more 4 poster inn with crystal glasses etc.
