My DH told a client today we had to go on vacation because I had to get warm or lose my sanity.

LOL... yep DH said to me today "I'm so glad we're going on vacation, we need to get away from this cold." Granted, it's not as cold here as where you are but we're just not used to it.

I was just thinking this morning, on the walk to work, how much I was going to hate not cruising with you all next year. Even if i bond with the new cruisers, I will still miss you. .

I have been thinking the same thing. This has been a wild, fun, ride. If we get along as well in person, I would LOVE to do a reunion cruise (maybe '08), and am still open to an OBX reunion for the DIS Geeks!

I just read up on aperture, shutter speed, ISO, lighting, flash, etc...and Im anxious to give it a try....I understand now why I was getting such crappy pictures before..blurry, etc...

The site I found even had tips on shooting sunsets, light and the colors associated with time of day (dawn vs dusk vs midday)

I may even consider a tripod...

They do on the Magic. I have seen the spreads in the bags in the hall on the last morning with the sheets.

and that is why all the hotels are switching to those comforter-less bedding designs. You know several layers of sheets and one small strip of comforter color across the bottom of the bed.

No they are all scary! There are always drivers who don't know what they are doing. When we see license plates from warm states we steer clear!

I don't blame you! Whenever it rains here I try to avoid driving , no one knows how to drive in rain here, they're like chickens with their heads cut off.

I then needed to run by the grocery store for milk the night before an ice/snowstorm. What a madhouse and they were out of so much. They didn't even have much milk left. I managed to get most of what I came for before going home. The weather is already getting really nasty and we have not seen anything yet.

I'm glad to know it's not just the Atlanta folks who make a milk run before an ice storm.

Let's see how the first date goes, , but yeah I would love a reunion, I have planned out points to do a early december 7 day cruise with a DVC stay, obsessed I say.

I was thinking about that today PJ, how I'm excited about this trip being so close but also kind of sad that it will all be over in a few weeks and then we won't have this thread buzzing anymore. I'm really going to miss all the cruise planning with all of you.

I was in the Marriott for a conference two weekends ago, they had this along with a foot high feather comforter, awesome sleep that night!

My brother is really into photography too...I just looked it as one of those things that I'd like to learn about and teach myself...maybe even get good at.
