Not sure if everyone has already bought their school supplies for the Ruins tour but I read this over at a trip report thread-

Ivan was the tour guide for our bus ride to the ruins. He talked the whole way there about the culture, the ruins, and the effect of progress on his village. Speaking of his village, my family brought along a bag of supplies for the school in Ivan's village. Being a teacher, we brought pencils, erasers, and a big package of glue sticks. Ivan was so excited about the glue sticks. He said the kids LOVE them, and do not have regular access to them. They normally use "used" gum for glue. Resourceful yes, but glue sticks are much more fun.

I'm glad I bought a lot of glue.

Oooh Avelox - know it well. That was I think the last of the pneumonia meds. It made me really nauseous. I hope you are feeling better.

I am feeling light headed and very tired. I don't even know which drug is causing it. I gave 2 lessons tonight (still have 1 more) and I am having a horrible time paying attention. I am so tired and generally out of it.

i got Black with red.... DD and i wear adult large.... I was going to buy two pairs but i figure we can share them.... I call first....

I actually considered getting the bigger size...but I am afraid they will be to big and then not be as comforable. I chose comfortable pink of questionable comfort black.

OMG!!! I can't believe this!!! OK, it started when the kids came in from school crying because someone stole our Santa decoration and knocked over Mrs. Clause. I told them that it was probably some kids. They thought that it was a few kids in the neighborhood. Well, they were outside visiting the dogs next door and the other kids came over. Apparently, DD accused them of taking the Santa and they told her it was teens who took things on the block. One of them is a freshman in HS...who doesn't play age appropriately with the younger kids & IMO should not be playing with them to begin with. DS knows how I feel & doesn't go over there when he is outside. Anyhow, one boy said something & DD called him an idiot. He hit her on the arm and she hit him back. He hit her again even though DS told him to stop so DS slugged him. This is where I saw what was happening out the window & ran outside to stop it. DS & the other boy hit each other in the chest a few times & DD punched the boy in the back. OY BOY!!! DH wont be home for a bit. YIKES!

Wow Lisa! DD sure is brave and DS is such a protector of his sister! Although I am sure you are none too happy that something like this happened again, you can at least take solace that DD can protect herself!

I need some advice from all of you seasoned flyers who get good deals . . .

This is for our March trip to WDW. I kept waiting for deals from Airtran, and in the meanwhile, the price has gone nothing but UP!

For the three of us to fly in March (not the week before Easter, but the week before that 3/23-4/1) Airtran is up to about $1,600. I can get cheaper fares on UsAir by taking their red-eye flight, and getting it down to about $1,100.

My question is this . . . do I nervously wait for Airtran to post a deal closer to the trip, or am I dreaming that they will and just book the red-eye flights (which are still about $400 more than I am used to paying for us to fly to Orlando)?

Any ideas guys?

Time to head home.

Wow John, that is alot for 3! Can you drive to a different airport that may be cheaper?

One of the funniest things we have seen was a blow up set during a wind storm. A reindeer had blown over, was on lying on top of Santa and was, um, well, he was shall we say very active! It was just WRONG!
