On the way out of Target today they had a bunch of movies by the registers for $9 - $15. I grabbed 5 different ones and told the girls I will wrap them for them even if they watch them before Christmas!

Target had nothing of interest on sale that saw today. Of course I didn't even get close to the toy aisles. I now know there is no way I could shop on BF. Too many people for me even today.

The one thing that I had to get at Target today is 12 Dancing Princesses GBA game on sale for 19.99!!!!!!! I have been waiting for it to be marked down. I don't like paying 30 for any of those things.

Let me tell you I HATE Kinko's......

I got there....around close to 10 am. Told the guy what I wanted, and he told me it would be $178 to get my Mickey heads laminated. I almost burst into tears. Sorry but for that price I would have gotten everyone coolies with the DIS Geek logo.....I grabbed my bag and left.

thought why not stop at Office Depot. She did it for much less on the spot!

Thank goodness, now I am cutting them out and putting magnets on them.

I also got a 256 flash drive for $5, it is some brand I don't know, Ativa? Is that at least decent? what I need?

I cancelled the Dolphin swim and Amanda doesn't want to do the stingrays. I'm leaving that one to see what she says later. Maybe her dad can talk her into it.

It seems that she was just saying it because she heard DS say it so much. Her throat was just fine when she came into the room at 6:05 am yelling for help in the bathroom. I swear! I will need to catch up on my sleep this week while the kids are in school.

I am really looking forward to being on the ship because that is the best sleep that I get all year. IDK if it is the rocking of the waves but I don't wake up all night and I am asleep a couple seconds after my head hits the pillows. The beds are so comfy too!

good afternoon everyone. I finally fell asleep after 4 this morning and the dogs woke me up before 9 to go out. oh well that just gives me more time to get everything done. I printed off small "disgeek DD" magnets for everyone's doors, I am printing off the name tags, I got all the xmas cards I had addressed to all (I ran out on guess whose name--Lisa's family--ironic huh), I am going to targe to get more cards. we had a desperate plea for help from one of my DH's coworkers for used items to take to a very rural appalachian (sp) church for xmas. she said they will take anything & everthing so the kids & I are going to go through all we had put aside for goodwill so that we can get stuff together for her. on top of all this, I am putting up the outside lights with DH before or after the bengals game and I am going to go through DD's stuff she picked out for the cruise. we tried on dresses yesterday. I swear she looks so grown up in the formal and semi formal. we found another semi formal that she wants to wear to AP. Do we know what the rotation is yet? talk with you all later.

Yes, you are early LAP. We will be missing the light show for Palo but that is the best night entertainment wise for us. Also the activities are great in the club & lab that night.

Thanks for the kind offer! Maybe we could stop by for a short rest. It would only be mid afternoon if we took the early ferry and we would probably want to get a bit closer to GA that day. How is 17? Is it a large highway or more of a country one? KWIM?

It is country. If you want to go that way, LMK which direction you are coming from. DH has driven it so much that he knows some alt routes that will cut 30-60 minutes off of your time by avoiding the little towns.

It takes us 5-6 hours to get to Walterboro SC which is about an hour north of the GA line. Mapquest says it is 8 hours....but we can give you quicker directions to 95 from here to cut some time. The drive to 95 is the worst part from here. You would take 95 to 20 to get to the Atlanta area. You said it is an hour this side of Atlanta? Then 7 hours (or less).
