You guys have probly talked about this a millon times but is there sunday services on the ship, When were and what time? THANKS

According to the NAvigators on the Last DD Cruise and the last Western Cruise, it was a non-faith specific service at 9:00 am on the ship. the print was too small to read the exact location.

John your pictures are wonderful. we have a mickey, minnie & pluto sleigh we put out each year but are afraid to leave it out for the whole time we are gone. I also don't want our neighbor to have to worry about it if we have a big wind storm. I told DD we were going to put a timer on some of the indoor lights. she couldn't understand why. I also told her we wanted to put up some lights outside so that it looked as though someone was home. I know our neighbors will keep on eye on everything but we have had some problems with teenagers getting out of hand and causing some problems lately. I have invited one of our neighbor's daughters to sleep over a couple times. she started college this year but is still living at home. she thought it would be a cool idea but she said she didn't know if she would feel comfortable sleeping in our bed. I told her we have a sleeper couch, DD's bed, & DS's bed--take your pick. she is also a little hesitant because our dogs sleep with us & she has never shared a bed.

That is why Mickey is on the porch. We get these big winds that come up to our house, and I wonder how long he will last before flying away? I have him anchored to the chair beside him, but even tonight he looked a bit tipsy and I had to right him before I took the picture. Must have had some of V's wine, LOL.

I decided NOT to go to the game tomorrow . . .

I did NOT want to see the Browns lose again after tonight!

(could also be Amy told me we have too much to do)

If your DH wants to make the trip he would be welcome to my tickets!

I went to the state semi-final for my old HS team, and they LOST in the last minute! The star player was injured early in the game, so we had a tough time scoring, final 18-13. Cincinatti Colerain Lost TOO! It will be Hilliard and Mentor in the Ohio DI final.

One of the funniest things we have seen was a blow up set during a wind storm. A reindeer had blown over, was on lying on top of Santa and was, um, well, he was shall we say very active! It was just WRONG!

man I wish I could. our local high school team lost to Piqua friday night. it was really sad. it was the 1st time this high school had made it to the state level. hopefully you are right about the browns losing tomorrow. we still aren't sure which bengals team will show up tomorrow

Hi everyone. Ernie hadn't really moved since Wednesday, except when we forced him to stand up and go outside. I don't think he was eating either. We decided to take him to the vet this morning. We also decided to bring the kids with us to say goodbye. I told them that the vet was going to send him away so he could feel better (not a lie, right?) but Nick (7 1/2) was a little too smart for that story -- he's really very empathetic -- and started crying when we told him it was time to say goodbye. Which then set me off. I was just fine up until that point. He's still a little sad -- he said "it's hard to say goodbye to an old friend." Ugh. But I think he'll be okay and I felt it was important that we didn't rob the kids of a chance to say goodbye. I think, in a few years, they would have been sad that they didn't get the chance to, otherwise. Sarah doesn't really understand -- she just knows that Ernie was sick and he's gone away. Nick hasn't said the words but I think he knows he's gone. DH and I have made our peace. We went to the gym to workout afterward and I spent a good half hour just sweating it out. I know it was the right thing to do... Ernie had been sleeping on his paws so much the last few days that he was surely going to lose them to gangrene or something. Anyway, thanks for all the well wishes and hugs -- I really appreciate them! I joked to DH that I needed a canine grief counselor, and he said "do you really?" and I said "no, I've got friends on the DIS for that". He said to go ahead and post away!

Joy, I am crying for you and your sweet family right now. That is so hard! I am going to say a big prayer for you all!

I was going to ask everyone a favor since the topic has come up.

DMIL - Ken's Mom will be with us on the trip - she is 85. She will be celebrating Hanukkah and since I know there will be an abundance of xmas related things going on - I am sure she would appreciate anyone remembering to wish her a Happy Hanukkah. Hanukkah begins on friday evening, Dec. 15th - the last night of dinner - we have late dining.

You can't miss his mom she is 4'11" - very tiny. and as I said 85. Her name is Martha.

The other thing is that she doesn't see very well so even if she has met you before she will not be able to recognize you unless you are very close. As with most people her age - her hearing is not that great either. Please don't be offended - just introduce yourself again. If you see her and she appears to be lost - she probably is - LOL. Just point her to deck 5.

Other than that she is pretty spry and loves meeting new people, parties, fun, the pool etc.
