OH MY GOODNESS!!! NEVER use the USPS. Fed Ex is usually half the price AND includes insurance. Besides, PM is not guaranteed to get there in 2-3 days. I had some things take weeks when I was ebaying.

I agree - USPS is not the best rate for long distances. Luckily we have a local fedex now (not a store that has pickup - they are as bad as the usps!!).

I didn't realize FedEx was so much cheaper. Our Fed Ex location is no where near my house but I have a post office so close that I've never bothered looking into other ways of shipping.

OK, if you go to the UPS store or FedEx rep you will pay more than if you have an account with them. You can print out your mailing labels prepaid online and just drop it off at the approved location listed on their website. SORRY that I didn't cover that before. I forgot.
