Do prescription and non-prescription medications have to be packaged in a quart-size clear plastic, zip-top bag?

No. Medications (prescription medicines and over-the-counter medicinal products, i.e. Tylenol®, Pepto-Bismol®, ointments, etc.) that come in liquid, gel, and/or aerosol form in containers greater than 3 ounce must be declared at the screening checkpoint, but do not have to be packaged in a quart-size, clear plastic, zip-top bag. If the medications are in containers of 3 ounces or less, they may also be included in the quart-size zip-top bag with other items – as long as it all comfortably fits

 I suppose I'll put all our meds in a ziploc anyway. It can't hurt. I'm sure confused though. All my meds are in pill form except my rosacea medication but I plan to pack that in a check in bag.

Ok, a question for the women... do underwire bras set off the metal detectors? :confused3 I don't recall it ever being a problem for me in the past and that's the kind I wear but I just read this on the TSA site...

Avoid wearing clothing, jewelry or other accessories that contain metal when traveling through the security checkpoints:

Heavy jewelry (including pins, necklaces, bracelets, rings, watches, earrings, body piercings, cuff links, lanyards or bolo ties)
Clothing with metal buttons, snaps or studs
Metal hair barrettes or other hair decoration
Belt buckles
Under-wire bras
Hidden items such as body piercings may result in your being directed to additional screening for a pat-down inspection. If selected for additional screening, you may ask to remove your body piercing in private as an alternative to the pat-down search.
Take metal items such as keys, loose change, mobile phones, pagers, and personal data assistants (PDAs) out of your pockets.
Place heavy jewelry and other metal items in your carry-on baggage or in plastic bags if they are offered, until you clear security.
Pack all your coats and jackets in your baggage when possible. All coats and jackets must go through the X-ray machine for inspection. These include, but are not limited to, trench coats, heavy winter coats, suit jackets, sport coats and blazers. If you choose to wear an outer coat or jacket to the checkpoint, you will need to either place it in your carry-on or put it in the bin that is provided for you.

Just checking in. I cannot keep up with all of these pages!!! I just check up on ya'll every now and then. Am I the only one who is beginning to FREAK OUT a little bit? This trip is 'neaking up on me! I need to get my formal dress hemmed, find dress shoes for DS, etc. and do Thanksgiving, and host a Christmas party all in the next couple of weeks. I take comfort in being a list-maker but holy mackrel! Oh yeah- and I wanted to catch up on sleep too!
Sleep...what is sleep???? I am getting a bit stressed about all that I have to do between now and the trip.

Todd, PTA presidents do not flash. That's how it starts, first the PTA president flashes, then there is the whole scandal and the family name is ruined. Nothing more sensational than the PTA or/and School Board being involved in naked revelry. Or underwear revelry....
Whew...at least it only applies to PTA and School Board presidents!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I like the idea of the storybook for autographs. Our last cruise I had the pillowcase signed.
I bought a small soft cover princess book for Eliza at Walmart. It was only 2.50 and it has all of the princesses in it. It is one of those "Level 1" reader books. I will have that signed for her. I am hoping I can find a "boy" book for Jake. We have those thick hard cover books, but I liked this because it is small and thin!!!!

Good morning...
Still more packing before we leave this afternoon...
I have my conference with Walt's teacher (why, yes, the preschool has conferences!)

I felt ill all day. I tried to eat lunch but that didn't help. I then realized that it is that time. I have always started feeling sick to my tummy a couple weeks before we leave from nerves. I went upstairs around 2. The kids came home and then DD was putting something in my hands. It was 4:20 & they were the DOCS!!! :cheer2: :cloud9:
Bummer...I thought you were going to tell us that you were going to have a baby.

Here's another autograph possibility: at Staples/Office Max/etc, they sell spiral-bound large (4x6) index cards (they're perforated, so you can take them out of the spiral cleanly). Use the spiral book for autographs, then you can use the cards individually in a photo album/scrapbook.

Within the story, I was quoted saying that I had to come home and tell my six year oldwe failed, but I will not tell her that we quit. The next day the online comments were none too kind from the senior community. We were accused of putting it on the ballot when they cannot go out and vote. One commenter ended by stating "we need to vote this entire school board out, starting with that John guy"...

So, the process is already started, if they see me as banana man, it is a cinch.

I am sorry that this happened. Some people just like to run at the lips. They are generally the people who are not doing anything for the community at large...they are just complaining about what other people are actually doing!
