Hello, This is the 17th cruise and we'll be on the double dip with you, new to the disboards. My cousin Tavia Storman got us on. We look forward to meeting with everyone!
We did the same cruise in June on the first double dip. We did all the tours and this trip we are going diving and massages on costa Maya.

My heart really goes out to all of you with children (young and older). It is a tough job! What is too strict? When does it stifle them as individuals? Also, when is it not strict enough so that they are safe. When do you reign them in so they don't grow up being so self centered and of little use to society as a whole? (God knows we have too many of those adults now!)

We raised one child and we had no idea how to do it. I am so glad he turned out to be so good. I often doubt that I had much to do with it. I tried to let him know what was right and how to interact with others. Most times when a situation came up where we had to decide yes or no ..... we had to guess. It seems to have worked.

All that you can do is the best you know how and then just love them.

Brack, that is exactly how it feels! A lot of guessing! We mostly go with our gut instincts. If there is a tough question about doing something, we usually go on the side of caution and say no. But we do hash it out to the best of our ability. Better safe than sorry.

Actually i did call DCL yesterday...First they tried to tell me that a cat 12 would cost more than my existing room....Then went i told her she was mistaken...She did find a lower cost but said i would lose my book on board 10% discounts for DH and I.

So really only $400 difference to risk being smooshed down on deck 2. i remember the cat 11 from 2004...Boy we were squished and that was only for 3 days.... After a week i would be killing my family or sleeping on a deck chair on 4 or 10.

The CM actually tried to tell me that i had a SPH...DUHHHHH.....

But i am in the deck 5 cluster with Mark on my left...Tana two doors down to right.

Nope staying put ......now if it were $800
