I just checked MSNBC and I have news that will absolutely shock and amaze you. I just don't know who could see such a thing happening....I think it may be so unexpected that we all will not know what to do with ourselves. Are you ready?

Britney Spears has filed for DIVORCE! :faint: :faint: :faint:

What are we going to do with this new revelation? Didn't everyone just know they were meant to be together forever.... :rolleyes1

Now there is a stunner!

John, I thought I saw you post that the browns had won. congrats. the bengals had a 21 to 0 lead that feel apart. we are all over the sports new though because the score was the highest score of a football game this season and for several years. I really wish they could have pulled it off. the last two losses we have had some very questionable officiating that could have changed the outcome of the game. I know the score should not be so close that one call could make that difference but unfortunately it has been. well next week is another game.

Sorry about the Bengals Missy . . . Our season is really over, so any win is a bonus.

On the bright side, the Buckeyes won, and our HS team won in the playoffs - beat Brunswick 45-27. Massillon lost, so there will not be a rematch with them. We play Toledo Witmer next week.

Which reminds me, if you are reading this Amy - you have to get us tickets! Call Alex and see if he is coming!

Anyway, Saturday is Ohio State - Michigan

Can you say "National Championship Game" - not in a bowl?

GO BUCKS!

we have a black minature poodle that loves to go out at night. I have a lot of problems seeing him at night. we had a ground hog visiting the backyard a couple of years ago. I was terrified to let the dog out back because the ground hog was bigger than the dog. we eventually caught the ground hog but we did install a larger security light in the back yard to help with keeping him in sight.

I need to put in a light. That would make things much better. We have tons of squirrels, and the occasional skunk.

DH & I are going away for the night this saturday. I won an overnight stay at a casino during one of my fundraisers this year. we have to use it before 12/31. I hope we can just get away and not worry about anything. my parents said they would keep the kids but dd kind of wants to stay here with her brother. I am a little nervous. we have never left them alone over night. DD is a very heavy sleeper due to her hearing loss. I am nervous that something might happen & she would not hear it and wake up. we have an escape plan put together in case of fire that her brother who sleeps across the hall from her would wake her & they would go out a window with a ladder if they need to or down the stairs if possible. we used to have a bed shaker fire alarm for her but it was recalled because the wireing had caused some fires. go figure. she doesn't wake up with bad storms or the dogs barking. DS also sleeps fairly soundly but I think he would probably stay up longer than DD & then freak himself out over "regular house noises". OW I guess we will have to talk as a family to see what we are going to do but at least we can go just the 2 of us

one of our local high school's football team is going to state. they have never been before. it is the rival school of DD's but she is still pretty proud of them. we had a GS outing yesterday and 2 of the girls in our troop go to the other school. they were so excited. they don't have to do some homework for tomorrow because their history teacher is a football coach and has to go to a special meeting monday about state.

A good fence and plenty of light for our backyard. The only trouble we have is when JoJo goes on the road with us and we need a hotel that is pet friendly. We can't always get a first floor room near an exit. He and I walk through the hall. He has become real good on an elevator.

Hey John,
Steelers keep sharing last place with the Browns! Thought we'd have it to ourselves this week....

Does anyone have an experience with the Vtech or 4 year age V toys? I am hesitant to buy any type of video game but some of them look pretty educational.

We have one. They are actually educational, but we discovered DD does not like video games of any kind, so it just sits there.

DD & I tried on dresses today to see which ones to take and which ones not to take (because too small). I really should have stuck to the challenge. Life has been so stressful & I have done a real lousy job of not eating every thing in sight. I am sitting here watching the football game. Dh & DS are asleep on the couch. I just finished reworking my office's budget. We are trying to figure out which positions can be cut and which are necessary for the operation of the agency. I keep thinking that I am one of the most highly paid employees and have suggested several times that they let me go & hire someone younger with less experience and hopefullly save money. Unfortunately, I don't only do my job. I am the Human Resource person, the computer person, the finance person, and the office manager person. My boss doesn't think that they could find one person to do everything I do. Man I wish I could win the lottery and give our agency 60K so that we don't have to cut anyone. I am also dealing with alot of guilt because I will be leaving for the cruise/vacation on the 9th and the person who is getting let go will have her last day prior to Xmas. I am not sure if I will be back before she leaves. we still have not decided which person that will be.

I have apple dumplings in the oven for DrHug. The kitchen was so inviting for cooking that I messed it up again! Still working on the laundry.

Becka, the door signs are looking great. Hope DrHug gets ours done. We may just have to use old ones and mark out the date! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Well, at least we are in good company in the cellar . . .

I guess this does not bode well for this next Sunday . . . Think we will be the NFL game of the week?

I will be there!

Good Afternoon!

I have been busy this morning PACKING! :faint: Then I of course had to try clothes on the kids - that is a total nightmare especially with Allie. Then I had to panic because they have grown more than I expected these past two months. :sad2:

I pulled out the suitcases and started loading stuff up and it is amazing how fast they fill up. I can't believe how much stuff we are planning on bringing. I have to find some way to cut back. It is scary in our bedroom right now with cruise stuff everywhere.
I know what you mean about having the kids try things on... OY!

My DH was wrapping the gifts from the characters. I was making the cards for on each one. I just wrote To: then Love: and attached a sticker of who it is from...they can't read anyway. Jake can ID his name and Eliza's name...so he will know whose is whose and who sent it.

Speaking of DD #2. I think DrHug mentioned that she hooked up with a couple of guys and formed a band. Well, they started playing in a tavern in a tiny town for no pay (just tips), and now have gigs scheduled in a Casino over on the coast and a couple of taverns around that are paying them. The casino job will pay them about $300 each. They spent yesterday at our house, downstairs, making a recording to send out as a demo to get more gigs. She sings and plays bass guitar on some of the songs. One of the guys is really, really good on the guitar and has a good voice too. He is "older", around our age. She seems to be having fun with it and the little $$ will help her out also.
That is so cool!!! ROCK ON!!!

We have the first roast from our cow in the crock pot right now...rump roast. I don't think I have ever cooked a rump roast before so I hope it turns out well. :)
Was your cow rump good??? :rotfl: I have made them before and liked them.
