Our goal for this weekend is to shovel out and wipe down this house and try to get ready for Thanksgiving.

I just got home from school (it was crazy there so I ended up staying in the office to help) and got a message from DH. They didn't get everything finished yesterday so have to meet today and he couldn't get a later flight home. He wont be home until tomorrow night now.

WHAT!!!??? Everyone absolutely has to commit to posting at work or Elaine's plan will not work! We all need to keep our prioities straight!

As you can see I have managed to slip a few posts in while everyone is catching up in the lesson.

Our guest list is down from 50 to only 36 or so. Much easier. My DS and her clan are not able to make it because of a high risk pregnancy. My niece is due at the end of the month and her doc told her she cannot leave the community.

Tickets go on Sale November 18 for the January Cleveland Show . . . they were passing out leaflets at Cheetah - but I am soooooo bummed - no Troy!

It WAS really funny all the moms commenting on no dads at Cheetah. The mom behind me (while Amy and Sophia left the seats to shop) mentioned "see suzy, there ARE some dads here" I turned around and said, yeah, but not that many! She said "Yeah, I guess you are a little outnumbered".

Well, at least there are short lines at the men's room . . . although I remember going to concerts in my college days where women used the men's room because of long lines . . . wonder if that happened last night?

LOL! If that had been the case with us I would have sent DH to the bathroom with both kids!!! DD knows the routine of having her eyes covered while daddy carries her in there & puts her in a stall.

This is just something I thought about last night while going to sleep but so many of us scrap...maybe we can use PJ's yahoo group to encourage each other to get this cruise scrapped? Can you post pictures on it or is there another site that would work better for that. I know that one group of friends who have left the deal board I was on now post as a group on gather.com. You can post pictures there. I haven't scrapped our 2nd or 3rd cruise so I could use the encouragement...as well as someone to answer to.

ok this is a neurotic question -

but can any experienced cruiser give me what your typical day at sea is.
It would be helpful if PJ, Angie and some families chimed in so I could see the different perspectives - single, w/kids, empty nesters etc.

How do you start your day? what do you like to do during the day - review navigators, wing it? etc.

In what subtle ways is it different from a port day. Like I know I will not be doing .........

just curious. no experience here.

and Lisa - I am assuming we need $100 cash for the ruins tour? I checked their website but don't see anywhere you can pay ahead of time, unless I am missing something.

And Todd - how many jeeps are actually going on your tour? Will that be all cash as well?

Vanessa , as far as I can tell so far 13 jeeps ....I just got word that they are trying to charge a little more then they said and I may have to change companys ...I will have more info by chat tomorrow night and will post in a Mickey Plan when I know for sure ...

I love the sea days. They are very relaxing. There are lots of things to do, from movies to classes. We enjoy sitting at the Cove Cafe and playing Skip Bo over a couple of Mochas, or Cognacs. Makes a good day for Spa apointments. The pools. Napping in a chair on Deck 4. On our first cruise we attended an Inprov Comedy Class. That was AWESOME!. Let the Personal Navigator be your guide.
